Never get a 2014 Mazda 6 for reliability
This is the least reliable car. My car only made it to 140,000 miles and the transmission blew for no reason. Also the suspension broke when pulling out of a Safeway parking lot last year and I never even hit anything! Everything in this car is cheap and plastic and breaks super easily. The parts are also very poor quality.

still going strong !!!
had mine for almost seven years now, it has little over 80k miles the good : excellent gas mileage, most people don't know this, but the Mazda 6 has a two stage accelerator , first stage is for fuel efficiency and when your foot feels that it has reached the end, if you step a bit harder into second stage, the car performs great, it is not a speed racer, but it does move fast roomy, well done, decent technology, looks great, beautiful lines , it is low cost maintenance, 184 hp, decent for a light weight car the bad : yes, it is a bit noisy, other than that, no other complaints ,

Mazda Smile
I love this car. All 94k miles. I handles beautifully that's why it's hard to not own nothing but Mazda.

Very sharp and comfortable ride
Only complain on this 2014 Grand Touring is the Technology. The Bluetooth delay, USB doesn't read certain phones it appears, and the navigation is awful. But I use my cell phone for navigation so it's not a feature that was make or break for me. Overall, a beautiful car that has the right amount of sporty and luxury. Great purchase!

Love my 6!
I love everything about my 6. The interior is very well crafted, although I do wish the console between the front seats was a padded soft touch material and the stereo surround looks like an after thought. The seats are beautiful with the perforated black leather and contrast red stitching, and are heated and supremely comfortable with nice bolstering. All of the tech features are great with every safety option available. Rear cross traffic alert is great and the back up camera making parking a cinch. The ride is very nice, even with the 19" rims, although it does get rather firm when loaded with weight. The exterior styling is nothing short of stunning. I get comments all the time on how nice looking the car is, especially in the Soul Red. Gas mileage is nothing short of remarkable. I get approximately 500 miles on a tank of gas and average 32-33 mpg in mixed driving. Also only requires regular fuel which makes it easy on my wallet at the pump. If you are considering a 6, I would recommend getting the Grand Touring trim with the tech package for the real leather interior, rather than leatherette as in the Touring, as well as all the tech features. This car is easily the best in it's class in my opinion. The driving dynamics are great and the styling and content for the dollar make it a no brainer. I love this car. UPDATE: Still love my car. It is rock solid reliable and great to drive. Still wish the stereo screen was a little bigger and not recessed with the cheap looking stereo surround, but overall it does not detract from the overall package very much. Mazda did a great job with this car and upgraded the interior in the 2016 model year which addressed the above complaint. Overall still the best mid sized family sedan on the market for the price in my humble opinion, and it's styling will age gracefully. If you are considering a Mazda 6, I would highly recommend getting one. UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: I’ve had my car now for a little over 16,000 miles and I love it just as much today as the day I bought it! I’m still not a fan of the stereo surround but overall this car has been fantastic and is very comfortable with a nicely put together interior. Absolutely zero issues with reliability and the gas mileage is great. I have had Audi, Acura, BMW, Volvo, VW, Honda and several other Mazdas and this is my favorite of all of them. Just a pleasure to drive. Mazda has a winning package with this car. If I were to sell this car it would be to buy a 2018 Mazda 6 with the executive trim. If you are considering buying one, do yourself a favor and do it.
