Smooth As Glass
We really enjoy driving this vehicle. It is smooth as silk on the road. I recommend this vehicle to anyone considering a Luxury Crossover with seating for 5.
I'm Loving My NEW 2012 Lexus RX 350!!!
We bought our 2012 RX 350 almost fully loaded on 11/11/11!!! We got the Starfire Pearl white and it is a gem of a vehicle. This crossover is supremely comfortable and easy to drive albeit bland at some times. On long road trips is where this car shines. The steering is precise, seats are luxurious, and the refinements exude Lexus quality. We got the Nav system, AWD, roof rack, Advanced HID dynamic Projector headlamps, and many other extra features. This car is very common in our area (Northern Virginia). We have driven about a 1,000 miles so far and it's smooth, elegant, beautiful, stands out, luxurious and quiet. It also has plenty of power and excellent brakes and acceleration!

Lexus owner for life
Let first say that I previously owned a 2009 Lexus RX 350. On January 6, 2017, I was broad -sided on the freeway, My 2009 was forced off the highway..it flipped over and stopped finally by hitting a small grove of trees just 2 feet from the Olentangy River. I had to cut out of the car with jaws off life. The rescue team told me... it was good thing you were driving a Lexus because otherwise you would be dead. So the after spending couple days in the trauma unit and after I was released my first call was to Lexus of Easton to talk to the sales team about helping find a replacement. Within a week or so Aso Danso , JB Woodring and Used Managers found for me a 2012 Lexus RX 350. It is beautiful and I feel safe and protected behind the wheel. Thank You Lexus of Easton for selling me my first Lexus and now my second. I recommend this car and this dealership both are 10+.

Lovin my new lexus
I have own a 1st (2003), 2nd (2008) and now a 3rd generation (2012) Rx350....I have to tell you, the ride just keeps getting better and better! I just love my 2012. It is such a smooth and comfortable ride. Like floating on a cloud! No..it is not the "ultimate driving machine"..but that is not what I wanted. Hugging corners at high speeds is not my thing. I test drove a BMW...not impressed. The interior seemed "cheesy" to me. I am not looking for a "fun" drive. I am looking to be "pampered" and "spoiled" and this RX350 is exactly what the doctor ordered! It is very quiet and has just enough "giddy-up" to get the job done. PERFECT! Can't wait to c what's in store for my next Lexus!
Got my attention!
Great car, best car I have ever driven. Easy to drive, just the right technology, not too many gadgets! Outstanding in bad weather when placed in Snow Mode.

Bought Used - First Used Car Investment I've Loved
Decided to let someone else take the depreciation hit of a new car for a change. Bought this in 2017 with 84,000 miles. Some said I was crazy. I have 103,000 miles on it now and it rides like new. My buddy had a 2003 with almost 300,000 miles and felt it was good for 500,000, except an accident (rear ender) ended the RX's life. Service costs have been very reasonable (rear struts for $400...a German brand would have been $1,200), new battery, which failed a year later and was replaced under warranty, new serpentine belt, new tires (recommend General Altimax...on all 3 of our cars) and a few other regular maintenance items. It has little tech compared to my former 2014 Genesis, yet its comfortable and reliable. Lexus service is top notch, although I've found one dealer to be better than the other. One cautionary note, which may apply to any car with a CD-changer. NEVER use a phone mount that secures in the CD slot. I did and accidentally hit the CD eject button, which started a repeated eject cycle and the slot being blocked eventually burned out part of the radio so only the steering wheel controls work now. Lesson learned, and a $1,000 bill to replace. The dealer will look on the used market for me, and meanwhile I do have sound...just no knob controls.

Can't go wrong with the RX 350!
Shopped extensively online until I came across a certified 2012 RX 350 with 45k miles. Got a great deal ($49k new - mine was $31k), and the vehicle has been superb in most every way. I knew what I was getting into, having read all the reviews, so I was not expecting a sports car like ride. It does what it is supposed to do with silky precision and great reliability. Service costs have been reasonable so far - it is not exciting to drive but it feels as good at 10 mph as it does at 90 mph. I'm anxious to see how it handles in the snow and up in ski country. the controls are intuitive and easy to learn (rain sensing wipers, Bluetooth, nav, sat, etc.) It is a very refined SUV, seems like all the bugs have been worked out. No breakdowns or problems - I'll be putting 200k plus on this one!

Great Car!!!
Pros: extremely reliable, I bought this car new for 8 years now and 112K miles. Zero problem. Comparing to 2000 BMW 528i, the problem arise as soon at first month and every other months for 4 years. This was German's most reliable car for 2000. Can't imagine on other German cars. Transmission fluid service ($10/quart plus $45 labor) is much cheaper than 2016 Honda Pilot Touring (9 speed) for $500. Just change oil, tires, brake pads and brake fluids and the ride is still awesome. Con: once a while the back seats have rattling noises on concrete roads around North Texas. Something with the rivets and dealer attempted to fix it once. The noise came back less frequent but I can tolerate this noise.

Top Rated Safety Pick
This vehicle was my 3rd Lexus and second RX. It is a very dependable car and I haven't had any problems other than unreliable Bluetooth connections. The dealer says it's the phone, Apple says it's the vehicle. I can connect and stay connected everywhere else so I'm blaming the vehicle. That's my only problem and it's intermittent so you know how that goes.

Almost perfect
I have had my Lexus for a year now. Purchased used it looked brand new. Beautiful vehicle - I get compliments all the time. Great acceleration, quiet, safe, not very good gas mileage... I love everything about it except the navigation! Okay around town but on long trips totally worthless; tells me to exit highway on almost every off ramp, tells me to turn around when I know I’m going in the correct direction. Honestly, this system could easily cause an accident and will, at the very least, raise your blood pressure. Bluetooth also cuts out which is very annoying. My mechanic says it’s a great car and I agree, just happy I didn’t buy it new and pay extra for horrible navigation. I am 63 and hope to have this car until I either die or move to Mexico - whichever comes first.

Wondering if I should have upgraded...
I recently upgraded my 2009 RX350 for a 2012 model and I'm really wondering if I have made a mistake. I'm very pleased with all aspects of the 2012 except one...ride quality. My 2009 rode much more smoothly than the 2012 does. I have the 19" wheels with Michelin Latitude Tour HP tires (P235/55/19). I'm wondering if I went to the Michelin MXV4's would the ride be smoother. I even asked the dealer if he would swap me the 18" wheels for my 19's...no go. I did take the car for a test drive and it seemed smooth enough to me but after driving it on all types of surfaces, the ride quality is not and upgrade whatsoever. I didn't purchase the car for pinpoint handling...I want a very smooth ride.
RATTLES A LITTLE
COMPARED TO MY 2011 RX350 , THE 2012 DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE THE SAME BUILD QUALITY . THERE IS NO QUIET IN THE VEHICLE . CLICKING NOISES , DASH RATTLES , ENGINE NOISE . THE LEXUS DEALER , ONE BY ONE HAS BEEN CORRECTING THE PROBLEMS . AWD WORKED EXCELLENT IN THE SNOW .
A real gem
Comfortable, easy to drive, easy to get in and out of. Easy to load and get things out of back. This is my 4th RX. Gets 20.8 average mileage on mid-grade gas. Has 57,250 miles. Plan to drive it till I can't drive anymore...maybe 20 years.

Our 3rd Lexus RX 350
Have owned 3 RX 350s - all AWD and all with Navigation. A 2004, 2007 and a 2012. The 2012 model is our favorite in many ways - but all have been 100% trouble free. The snow control - part of the AWD system is amazing.

Lexus discomfort
Having just completed an 1800 miles road trip I have to report that both I and my wife found that the seats were not ergonomically supportive. On drives of only 150 miles we found that we both suffered from lower back pain, especially in the passenger seat. The lumber support is quite inadequate. I never suffered these pains when I drove my BMW X5 as much as 400 miles in one day.Other criticisms of the car are - view of the clock is blocked by one's right arm: the outside temperature numbers show very small: there is no storage for glasses: the trunk area has poor additional cubby spaces: the reversing camera is poor - my KIA Sorento was much more accurate. I would not buy another one.
Update
The 2012 Lexus RX 350 lived for 2 years in California before I bought it and brought it to Arizona. I have had is a couple of years . I bought a Lexus because my Camry was virtually repair free year after year. I kept that gem for 10 years. Today , at barely 4 years of age the car has a radiator leak problem. Apparently the parts are made from plastic and in the heat,,, yes it is hot here, the plastic breaks down and we have a leak. Apparently to fix this requires that the whole bumper has to come off resulting in at least 5 hours of work and over $500 just for the labor. I was stunned! Please do not tell me that every 4 years I am going to have to have the radiator fixed or repaired. This is for us a major financial issue and one I think people should know about. It is interesting to go back and read this. The Lexus repair guy lied to me. Before I had it repaired I took it to another Lexus dealer and we determined that was absolutely NO leaking radiator. Needless to say we do not take our cars to that dealership anymore. We travelled 11,000 miles in the car this past summer through Canada and the US. It worked just fine except the GPS system failed us many times ,,,,several times it was dangerous missing signs and then darting off because of the late information. Hopefully the systems will get better. Also, I was told that the oil should be changed every 3,000 miles and that reminder comes up on my screen but it turns out from the research is it every 10,000 miles. Otherwise, I continue to love the vehicles.

Awesome car
Have had this 2012 Rx350 for 9 years my first Lexus had 2 Mercedes and hands done the Lexus has been more affordable to operate. In 9 years only replaced battery twice tires and brakes. Only use Michelin tires on my vehicles. After 117000 miles she still purrs and handles the road ! I am sold on Lexus!

Metal Found in Filter, Heads came off
At 5000 miles the Head Gaskets had to be replaced gave some lame reason blaming Canada for that no extended warranty offered just sorry. Lets see dealer did oil change at 10,000 I had it done at 15,000 and the mech showed me metal in the oil; filter. Since when are you ever suppose to have metal in the filter, NEVER. The dealer says sorry but factory rep says normal, not in my life time no customer support call the factory their answer since when do you buy a car from the factory. Lexus Carlsbad shame on you don,t buy.
What a steal!
Waited four years before I found the car I wanted, color make and model. Be patient you too will find what you want.

2012 RX 350
I vowed to never buy another car brand new, I drive a lot and it just made since to trade in my car for a new one. I was so in love with my first 350 that I new I would stick with this car. The upgrade has been very accomodating, I still feel like im driving my other car, the upgrades are perfect but not overbearing. I would recommend this vehicle anytime
