2023 Lexus NX 450h+ is a great car for my use case
This car is definitely a technology upgrade from our 2 year old Lexus. There are good and some not so good things about this depending on your likings. The shifter is a newer design with caveats. It moves from Park to Drive (versus Park to Reverse) when you pull the shifter towards the position indicators. It took a couple of near disasters to train myself to move the shifter forward to move to Reverse. This is by far the only serious complaint on this vehicle. I consider this a safety issue that Lexus should address. The digital rear view mirror is interesting, as it shows everything behind the vehicle without the obstructions of the car sides and rear window. The display screen is massive and the navigation screen really shows a lot of information. What I did not realize when purchasing the car is that the navigation system (cloud based) requires a subscription service. Lexus provides 3 years when you buy the car, but there is no mention of the cost after the first 3 years. The electric only driving is great and the range seems to be close to what is advertised. I have not yet had occasion to pay close attention to exactly how far I am going before the regular hybrid mode engages, but the range I have experienced so far is over 33 miles. And for me it means the gasoline engine is not being used in my daily driving. The overall mileage for the regular hybrid mode is around 37MPG according to Lexus. This is another thing I won't experience until I drive it more than 33+ miles without recharging. The car came with Run Flat Tires, which was a surprise. There is no spare tire. Came in handy when I picked up a screw through the sidewall on my third day of ownership. Highly recommend the offered Tire and Wheel Protection Package, which covered the entire cost of a new tire. The car moves quickly with a great feeling of acceleration even when not pushing down hard on the accelerator. When pushed hard it moves from 0 to 60 in around 6.5 seconds. Faster than I usually push it, but its nice knowing its there. Seats are comfortable and the ventilated seat option works well. For a car this size it is pretty quiet, but not as quiet as the RX450h. Overall I really like this vehicle and would probably buy this again.

such a great PHEV
Currently have about 8500 miles, maybe put in 8 tanks of gas. It's got some pep when in HV mode. Normal day-day it's stays full EV. Charges in 2hr from level 2 charger when drained. I have the F-Sport and the handling does tighten up in sport+ mode which is nice. The new Info screen is great, mainly use Apple Car play. If I had 1 grip is that you need to wait for apple car play will sync , before placing the car in drive. This takes 10-15 seconds. Seats are supportive, cabin is quiet. Best feature is the lane keep assist. It will drive itself at highway speed, just need to keep a finger on the wheel

Great milage lots of features d good self driving
This is my 3rd Toyota hybrid and this one is the best. Jam packed with tech features. Self driving is as good as my wife's tesla. Big enough in back to put 3 car seats across. I get 36 miles per charge and I mostly drive locally so I have filled up the gas tank two times in two months.
Love the fuel efficiency, hate the nav & screen
Fuel efficiency is awesome. However, the nav screen is very difficult to see due to washed out colors, small print, and glare. The menu is awful - it gets stuck and you can't get to where you want. Have had the car 2 years and haven't gotten used to it. All in all, I prefer driving my 2020 Rx.
