Perfect ; absolutely Perfect
2012 LS 460 ; standard AWD , flawless . now that the automobile is perfect ( even premium michelin rubber) , it's time for a model change to create unhappiness for awhile . --- absolutly reccomend the 2012 LS ... save + $ 30 k over a 550s MB with 4 matic ... and no need for constanr maintenance ! .... Beats the pants off the Jag , leaves Caddy in the distant dust , saves $ 100 k over a Bentley . Double Black , or White with Alabaster are stunners . The only MUST HAVE OPTION IS THE LEVINSON RADIO . ( perfect balance , crisp stand out highs , and completely undistorted Bass ( last model year for this model Levinson ) ... Gas Mileage is 24 + on the highway ( 92+ ) mitchell rowe ;
Fabulous Ride !
This vehicle is by far the quietest and smoothest riding vehicle I have ever owned. Even with the V8 I get 28 mpg on the highway. Seats are comfortable and supportive. The Mark Levinson sound system sounds great. The only downside is premium fuel is pricey, but it's worth it for the great ride and comfort. I love this car ! After driving for 6 months this car continues to be smooth and reliable.

Sustained Perfection; Mile after Mile
Great car; maintains its classic look while handling and performing like new after 7 years and 90,000 miles. Very comfortable for road trips; excellent legroom and comfort for rear passengers.

last of the beauties
Bought this 2012 car 6 years old with 16k miles on it for less than half of its initial cost. Starting in 2013 Lexus is trying to see how ugly they can make them and still have people actually buy them. After many consecutive years of top ratings, the new LS is no longer recommended. But it's a delightful highway cruiser, which is good considering that it's a 500 mile round trip drive to the nearest Lexus dealer/maintenance facility.

Navigation problem
Very disappointed at the nav system on my new 2012 Lexus LS460. On several occasions, the system gets confused only blocks away from final destination. The red dot Indication on the map at any intersection is off by about 0.1 mile, very confusing to users. Won't allow you to input address while vehicle is moving for safety concerns, but that's stupid, what if I have a passenger trying to put in a new address while I am driving? Unnecessary constraints! Nav is slow to respond, typing address must be done VERY slowly. I already need a update to the Nav, where is it, Lexus?
