Used 2011 Kia Sorento LX 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Love my Sorento
Great SUV with lots of comfort and room. Got it for a low 19,000! Took it on a 400 mile trip and was thrilled to average 29.2 miles per gallon. I'm getting about 25.5 in the city so I'm very happy. I wanted a comfortable car for family trips that would get good gas mileage and I've found it! I have the 4 cylinder and am fine with the amount of power it has.
Just got it
FWD LX with TRS, CPK, auto-dimming mirror and floor mats all under 20400+TTL Seems like a good deal. Car performs well. It is much noisier compared to a chevy traverse. Pick up is OK giver a 4 cylinder. Not much more to report at this time.

Very solid
The ride is smooth. Some might complain about going over bumps, but in reality, who drives on bumps all the time? When on the freeway and going 75 mph, it is very smooth. On streets and avenues, the ride is comfortable. I have driven in BMW's X5, Lexus and the ride difference is minuscule. I'm not interested in a bunch of bells and whistles, I want a good radio, blue tooth and iPod hookup. And it has all of that. This SUV gets me from point (a) to point (b). In reality, that is all you want.
Beyond Expectation
Right after purchase we took it on a road trip to S. Lake Tahoe. The handling was very smooth and controlled even in the twists and turns of the mountain roads. The 4 cylinder engine performed beyond my expectations. It accelerated smoothly and passing at high speeds was a breeze. The engine's uphill performance was surprising; I had no trouble climbing the 7,000+ foot grade to Lake Tahoe. Round trip-the Sorento delivered an unbelievable 30 MPG. This was a mix of highway, twisting mountain roads, and around the City of S. Lake Tahoe. Overall, I'm very please with my purchase.
Early Adopter
Purchased 2010 Kia LX and it is an impressive vehicle for price. Owned two Hyundai Santa Fe's and compared what Kia offered for money and it was no comparison. Surprised 4 cylinder had similar power to my V6 Santa Fe. I live in hilly area and the 4 climbs as well as old V6. To early to tell is reliability will be as good as Hyundai, but since they are same company I assume it will be comparable. Vehicle drives sporty but feels solid and bigger than my Santa Fe. Will see long term mileage. Got my Sorento Lease for less than my 2007 Santa Fe with no money down. Take a look I'm sure you will be impressed with value for money. Would get a V6 if you tow things.
