Used 2004 Kia Sedona LX 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Suprisingly Competeitive
This van definitely competes with the upper classmen in this field and would do so even at a higher price. I would guess this is the best car for the money bar none. Loaded with standard features, handles well for a van, very peppy and quiet engine accompanied by a smooth shifting transmission. Looks good in and out. Would not hesitate to buy this car again.
Kia Sedona
It's nice to drive and solid. Consumes more gas and getting only 14 mpg. Brakes are very bad and make a weird sound within 10 miles. Tires are very bad.

Sedona on Course!
Sedona holds road just fine Interior has lots of goodies including first aid kit under seat. Only problem is fuel consumption. On 1600 mile trip to Fla averaged 15 MPG.
Disappointed
I am disappointed with the 2004 Kia Sedona. Very poor gas mileage, about 12 mpg in town. Quality is poor. Rear hatch has a 'clunk' sound when opening and the windows have the same when when closing. The bench seat in the middle is a big hassle. Dealer said the middle and rear seats are interchangeable which they are not. I will not buy another Kia.
Cheap Imitation
I selected the kia Sedona for price, shortness (for city parking), and the 10 year warranty. The service department is awful and the dealership didn't keep its word on the deal. I can't drive with visor down, it was poorly designed. Also, the body was poorly designed, a kid leaned against the front fender and it "popped" in creating a dent! On the plus side - it has great pick-up, looks good (even if its a cheap knock-off of American cars). My greatest dissatisfaction is with the service shop and the lies of the dealership (like free loaner car when my kia is in the shop overnight).
