This is THE BEST offroad vehicle stock, period. I wish it had a bit of a lift and a little wider tires, but I can understand that lawyers are involved. But its a great platform to build on with stock lockers, Dana44 axles, beefy transfer case, etc. Make no mistake, this is built for offroad, so it won't ride like a minivan. Lots of the features are for offroad only. (For the guy who "broke" his lockers...never, never, never, never use the lockers on-road. Ever. The fact that you have to shift into 4Low and not driving faster than 10mph should be a clue they were intended for rock crawling, not grocery getting).

I have owned 4 jeeps over 26 years and have enjoyed four wheeling the deserts of Arizona over that entire time.

It's a JEEP

I have owned 18 jeeps from the CJ3 to Cherokees, Grand Cherokees and this is the best yet! I knew from past experience that a Wrangler is a Jeep as far as ride and design. Still I love the Rubi!! Auto transmission is the best yet. Gearing is super. It is the peppiest yet. "NOW THE BAD" My biggest complaint is the darn pinging. Jeep says that’s the way it is, live with it! And use 89 octane when the book says runs on 87. Got no help trying to fix this problem after 4 trips to 2 different dealerships.

The only reasonable priced serious off road vehicle that can be used as is for both street and trails with out concern. It is built tough and reliable, you can get an auto transmission and airconditing with cruse control. But the basic jeep has real tough drive train that you can get factory airlockers front & rear with a heavy duty transfer case and full 7 year 70k mile warrentee for worry free off/on road uses.
