Used 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Consumer Reviews
Overpriced speed demon
I enjoy the quick acceleration of the 2018 limited grand cherokee. 33000 km and issues with the screen shutting on and off, waiting for parts to come in to fix it. Caliper issues already and had to have a rental for 2 weeks. Parts luckily covered by warranty which is almost over in a month. Rear doors do not open wide enough. The vehicle could be a bit longer as the rear seats do not have much space. The metal trim where the cups go is some kind of metal finish that is flaking off. Some of the interior could be more stylish according to the price of the vehicle. Also a pig on fuel in the city. I'm consider cutting my losses and finding a luxury vehicle that is made with quality and not falling apart after 3 years.

Defective radio control display
Liked everything until the display delaminated causing control issues . Jeep not very helpful fixing a known problem . Should be a full blown recall .

Buyer beware
To anyone considering buying a Jeep…buyer beware……..I have owned 5 Jeeps in my life and immediate family have owned a few more……..my current Jeep Grand Cherokee is 4.5 years old with 70,000 miles. Low and behold my car died and needs a new starter. Okay stuff happens and it is out of warranty. If you search for a starter for this vehicle you can find it new for $250(the dealer charges $400). That’s not the killer……..because Jeep in it’s wisdom on their 3.6L V-6 has buried the starter in a place that requires 7.5 hours of labor. Total bill $2500. I spoke to Jeep and they are unwilling to mitigate any of this expense despite the fact it is obviously due to their design flaw. The service advisor even said …a starter would usually be no more than $1000 to replace in most vehicles……………. “The cost of rebuilding parts for a starter might range anywhere from $50 to $350. A brand-new starter might cost anywhere between $80 to $350. You can expect to pay between $150 and over $1,100 for a qualified mechanic to replace or rebuild your starter. ”—-way.com I love lots of things about my Jeep and the ones I have owned before……but I am out …never again Jeep, FCA, Stellantis vehicles……. JEEP NO MORE……. #jeepgrandcherokee #jeeplove
An American Tank!
Comfortable daily driver and adequate space for many purposes. Smooth and responsive on the highway. Great gps system and power when you need it. Gas mileage could be better and rough on bumpy roads.
6 years and still love my Grand Cherokee
Just 50,000 miles on it but not one problem! Reliability has been remarkable, good power and always fun to drive. Really love my car
