Used 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Been a Great Ride
I have been driving my Jeep almost 4 years now and have been pleasantly surprised. It has held up fairly well. The only issues have been with the starter and a replaced pinion seal. Its been a thrill to drive on the road, snow, rain, mud, and sand. I never got stuck or was beaten off the line. The 4x4 and Hemi are excellent.
Never Again
I love my Jeep, but I can't give the company any further business. Warranty repairs that charge a deductible, parts that wear out in less than two years (and AREN'T covered under warranty), and a customer service agent who told me that she didn't need my business. Just noticed that there were ZERO Chrysler products (including Jeep) were recommended by Consumer Reports: I'm buying a new vehicle in the next three months and it (sadly) can't be a Jeep.

Couldn't be happier
I've owned many brands of fine cars and only one other SUV, which happened to be a Chevy Blazer. I thought I couldn't do much better for options and comfort. But when I got my Jeep and compared comfort and styling, I was pleasantly pleased with the total package of the vehicle. I am thoroughly enjoying my new ride.
Great Jeep
This Jeep is different from others I have driven. It's fast, strong, luxurious and RELIABLE. There are great technical features like controllable rain-sensing wipers, helpful computer related features, and a fantastic drive system. That drive system not only makes this Jeep incredibly secure in bad weather but gives it sports-car cornering and handling. It's never been in for any unscheduled service but it does often visit the gas pump. I love this vehicle.
Disappointed Jeep Owner
This is my third Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am having substantial problems with the transmission. The Jeep shudders when taking the smallest hill, though I have the 5.7 L engine. Jeep cannot fix the problem, and told the dealer to tell me the shudder is normal. I have been a loyal Jeep owner for 15 years but am now in a Lemon Law proceeding. Other problems include being on my third factory installed CD player, though I use the player less than once a week. Too bad Jeep won't stand behind the product, and in fact has been nasty to work with. I would like to keep driving Jeeps but cannot recommend due to their lack of standing behind the product.
