Used 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
ugggh!!
I bought my Jeep with 70k on it and and have driven it 5k and my fuel pump needed replaced, a shock was leaking, and my tranny just went out. Each one I had to pay $200 deductible with Chrysler. Thank goodness I bought the extended warranty or id already be out like $4k! If you purchase this vehicle buy the warranty! If I were you though, look elsewhere!
Hemi is awesome
I've owned a 1993 Grand Wagoneer (V8) and 2001 GC Laredo (6 cylinder). The 2005 GC limited with the HEMI and QuadraDrive II is awesome. New England just had a major snow storm and this SUV drove through it without any issue. You feel very safe and would even know you were driving on snow. The ride is taut like a European sports sedan.

Sparkling performer
Third Limited owned. Best by far. Hemi is king. Quick and smooth acceleration. Monster on the highway. Gas guzzles for sure but what do you expect from a 340 hp performer in an SUV that loves to be hammered? Off road ops is sweet and steady. Jeep knows how to track in the trenches. Let it snow.
This is awesome!
Jeep really has it down. This vehicle has got to be one of the best ones out there. I've already taken it off roading and it conquered the territory like a champ.
It's Got a Hemi
I recently traded in my beloved Honda Accord for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The ride is smooth and quiet but you can hear the RUMBLE when you need that HEMI power to kick in. The fuel economy stinks but I was ready for that when i was getting the 5.7 liter engine. Driving stability is phenomenal. I love the front chrome grill on my Jeep. It's got every imaginable feature such as rain sensors, auto dimming mirrors, heated front seats, 6 disc mp3 cd player, dvd player, memory seats, tire pressure monitor, back up sensor. And its size is not as monstrous as the Suburban so ... you can step on it a little without the fear of losing control. How can you not gun it if you've got a HEMI! :)
