Used 2011 Jeep Compass Limited 4dr SUV 4WD (2.4L 4cyl CVT) Consumer Reviews
2011 Jeep Compass Quality 180 deg off
We have been loyal Jeep customers buying new Grand Cherokee and Compass Limiteds for years. When my wife saw the 2011 Compass redesign advertised on TV she had to have one. We traded our 2007 Compass in on a new 2011. Then the troubles started showing up. The key fobs would not work, then the TPMS system failed on the freeway. The first attempt to repair resulted in a 3.5 waiting room stint with no idea how to fix it. No loaner cars. I left the car at another dealer for a week and still not able to fix it. After 3 weeks of ownership we are totally disgusted. It appears that we now have a safety systems related lemon. Chrysler Customer assistance is of no help and unsympathetic.
Great Car!!
I just bought this car 3/2011. I love it. The re-design made all the difference to me. It looks great inside and out! It rides great and the features that come with it for the money (26,000) can't be beat plus the 4x4 by Jeep is all the better. Great all around! Beats out all the other small SUV's in my book.

Little disappointed
Purchased the jeep about 2 in a half years ago for 8000 and now I find out it's only worth 3000. I put a brand new front and back section of frame on at the dealer for 5000 so now after almost 14000 iff I were to sell it I would loose 11000 dollars.
2011 Jeep Compass 4x4 212,000 miles
212,000 original miles engine or transmission never touched, just regular maintenance. Very surprised since some people are ignorant and bash these for no reason other than their pure ignorance. I bought this at a really good price from the original owner and it looked and drove like new, still does as I am a detail/clean freak and keep up to maintenance. Very reliable, I bought this for a winter ride as we get a 3-4 weeks of snow during the winter sporadically. Jeep is a blast in the snow it never gets stuck and continues to serve a reliable winter vehicle.. No issues at all, very reliable, smooth for its size, no rattles of squeaks, everything works as it should heated seats, a/c and all other electric's .Tires make a big difference in the quietness and smooth ride of these.. I have a new set of Michelins and so far the best! Only issue that the check engine came on for was the evap canister, easy to replace and new gas cap it never had an issue since. Took me 15 minutes! I bought this used in 2017 with 101,000 miles have full documentation of dealer service work done..I put another 111,000 miles on it since 2017.It isn't even my daily driver/except end of Nov-to the end of February, and randomly throughout the year.I have 2 other cars that are my babies and don't winter drive them. I also change the transmission fluid every 40,000 miles and filter,as its a cvt and that would be the weakest part of the Jeep..Original owner did that and I kept it up,even the dealer here charges $175 to do it..I work on my own vehicles so no big issue for me and a little more than half the cost savings.I just changed it,changed the spark plugs, coil packs(didnt need it but just did to be trouble free for the winter)..New brakes last year so all is good..I am going to see how many more miles I can put on it.. I oddly like this Jeep..I own classic Muscle Cars and a new one but this is my winter ride can't call it a beater because it looks new still! Oddly impressed lol.

Better be short!
I am tall ( 6'4") and the front seat legroom was not comfortable at all. Leg was bent and not able to stretch out.
