After test driving all SUV's on the market, the Jeep Cherokee had the best bag for the buck, but the sales and finance staff was the reason for making the purchase!

The window wiper design is horrible. The passenger wiper comes all the way over to the driver side. It stops at angle which goes right across the field of forward vision of the driver. When raining, the driver is always thrown in a blur (that comes and goes). When snowing, when salt has been on the road, the driver's vision is obscured by the white film on the windshield going across the field of vision. The defrost is horrible. In certain conditions, the windshield and front side windows (driver and passenger) do no get entirely cleared. There remains a 2 to 3 inch area around the edges of those windows (front and sides) that do not clear. The back passenger windows remain entirely fogged. This is an accident waiting to happen.

This car has comfort, sleek design. However, the tires that the factory gives you when you purchase this vehicle are not good for winter driving. If you aren't leasing like I did, I suggest you get a good all-season tire put on. ALSO, if you are taller or a bigger person, you will not fit comfortably. My husband is a bigger guy and his knees were in his chin. No legroom in the back.
