Bad car I would not recommend it to anybody
I brought a brand new 2015 Jeep Cherokee latitude on Jan 2016. After almost 3 years all lights in the dashboard came on and car won't start when it did it would make a loud noise and jump when shifting, took it to dealer and was told that the motor was too low in oil and the car did all that to protect itself from further damage. Got it fixed. When at home I notice oil inside the front passenger seat I got concerned and decided to trade it in. I bought a 2019 Cherokee latitude plus. A month after took it back to dealer with the same problem the first one had, all lights on in dashboard, not starting, not shifting everything the old one did, Got it fix and now 4 months after it was fixed it's back to dealer with same exact problem they fixed back in Nov. 2018 I bought this car brand new back on Oct. 2018, with only 17 miles. And in less than 6 months it's been in the dealer for repairs with the same problem twice. It seems to me like a factory problem but dealer won't exchange it. I can't afford to buy another car right now. I just don't know what to do, I really don't want this car anymore it's not safe and I'm afraid I will get into and accident one of these days.

Love my Jeep Cherokee
This is my first Jeep and I love it. The cloth/leather seats are much more comfortable than the all leather. The ride and quietness are impressive. The nine speaker sound system is good, I do miss not having a CD player. I have not had an opportunity to go off road, but I am sure it will do whatever I need. I bought it to flat tow behind my Motorhome, which it does with ease. I am disappointed that the odometer racks up miles while being towed. I am going to research this further. Overall very happy I bought this vehicle. After following the directions in the owner's manual to prepare for flat town, the odometer does not record mileage while towing. This is also a V-6, which was not a choice in the original review. I still LOVE this SUV, just turned 15,000 miles, not one problem! Updated Information: 08/2019 Just turned over 26,000 miles, still no problems except a hood adjustment. Great gas mileage, comfort. Used as a towed vehicle behind our motorhome, tows great, towed about 10,000 miles with no problems.

nothing like a brand spanking new Cherokee!
I previously owned a 2014 Cherokee until a tree impaled & totaled it at work, that was the best vehicle I ever owned. After that I had a new Compass (for 7 months) until the 2019 Cherokee's came to dealerships in April. I've never purchased a model so quickly before but I missed my Cherokee and had to have another new one. The 2019 does not disappoint! Has a luxurious feel inside, with plenty of room to spare. Not sure why it wasn't in the list above but mine is a Latitude Plus 4dr 4x4 with 6 cylinders not 4. Peppy, fun, stable and reliable, as well as a gorgeous exterior! I will have this car for many years, very happy with it so far. Get one!

great car
it is all about how you upkeep your vehicle i believe. It's perfect size very reliable in snow and rain. Roomy in the front i love the selec terrain. It's in awd and goes in to 4wd if needed. But there are options like auto, sport,snow,rock/mud/ sand. But you can change these on the fly as long as your going under 35.
Burns oil bad!!
Love the car. Just make sure to check the oil every 1000-2000 miles it burns oil for no apparent reason and caused the car to stall and oil lights to come on.
