Could be better
Very average gas mileage for hybrid. Slow to start up from a stop; slow acceleration. Paint defect that dealer is claiming is a rock chip. Burning / electrical smell after driving, then parking in my garage. Annoying rattling sound due to loose splash shield. Dealer says Hyundai is aware of the problem, but as of now has no solutions. From previous reviews, I expected better.

2500 miles I’m awaiting dealership check
I purchased this vehicle trading in a 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid XLE. I purchased this vehicle expecting I would give it to my son to be 16 year old son at the 10k mile mark. The tech is amazing….when it actually works…today after 2500 miles there is absolutely no sound from any of the speakers and the dealership will take “several days to inspect and then will likely have to order parts.” The acceleration is amazing, but when the car shuts off when stopping it takes quite a while to get going again—-much more than the Toyota. The road noise is high, but this is the first non-three row SUV I have had for quite some time—-so is disappointing. It is very sporty and cute on the exterior—-but wish I would have went with the BMW X1 for similar amount of money…. Update….car taken to dealership—-able to get radio to turn back on by performing a “car reset” which is essentially unplugging the battery, leaving it unplugged for 30 minutes and plugging it back in. They stated would have to order a new infotainment system——which if not under warranty runs 6k for the part, plus labor—-they have no idea when it will arrive from Hyundai (thanks Clay Cooley). Less than a week of driving it after the reset fix—-it goes out again…..very disappointing for a vehicle with 2700 miles….

Gas mileage, Pick up, heated seats
I owe a Tucson SEL 2.5. Trip from Fargo to Minneapolis, averaged 37.5MPG. AC on cruise at 73. Great ride. Lots of storage. Takes awhile to learn technology. Getting 29 to 30 driving around the city. Mine has a lot get up and go. Would recommend this vehicle to anyone. Love the heated seats now that the weather has gotten colder. Will be tested this week. Am expecting blizzard conditions in our area. Mileage still good. Still loving the Tucson. No issues at all.

Got it all
Got the Limited model and has all the safety technology plus luxury options. Bose sound system is a plus. Great ride and quiet on the highway. Sure beats the hell out of my 2020 Rav4. The Rav4 was noisy. Plus a much better warranty.
