Poor Highway Fuel Economy.
I absolutely love everything about this vehicle except for the real world fuel economy on the highway. In the city I average about 36 mpg. On the highway it is more in the 25-26 mpg range. Don't buy the vehicle based on fuel economy estimates. I made that mistake.

Disappointing purchase
MPG is much lower than advertised. My vehicle has only been driven for 4 months and has not ever gone over 29 MPG city or highway. There's also a lot of beeps & noises internally; many of these features cannot be disabled.

Very Disappointed-Tucson Hybrid Blue
Purchased the Hybrid Blue end of May 2021 based on the EPA mileage estimate of 38 mpg. I am averaging 30mpg with mostly city driving, 26 to 28 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. Android Auto doesn't engage and the dealer hasn't been able to tell me why. The blind spot monitoring alarms and lane control are malfunctioning at times. No spare tire is a major detraction also. Overall, features are minimal given the price tag. UPDATE: Have owned this 2022 Tucson Blue hybrid for 18 months. Very disappointed in the mpg. Except for a couple months this summer, the mpg has averaged about 34; and suddenly dropped to 29 in November. While I understand colder weather affects the mpg, it shouldn't be this bad. Also, the hybrid system failure light came on and the car stalled. Dealer couldn't reconstruct the problem but stated that there have been a "few minor issues" identified that they are working on. Given the poor mpg compared the advertised performance and stall problem for a new vehicle I wouldn't chose this car again. No spare tire proved to be an issue when I had a flat on the highway and roadside assistance wouldn't show up for hours.

Nice car except fo gas mileage
UPDATE: I found out that if I keep the car in SMART mode, the gas mileage improves significantly, from 26-27 up to 28-31. he car is attractive and comfortable. I don’t care much about the technology but it is fine. The gas mileage in my case was misrepresented. I get about 26 miles per gallon pretty much everywhere I go. If there is any wind, it’s worse. When I drove across Kansas to Colorado, the wind was pretty bad, and I got 21 miles per gallon. UGH
