My Thoughts

Actually I really like this SUV, I wanted a manual and something that was not going to kill my budget. So far I am getting about 23-27 MPG and I can not complaine about much on it. I did replace the factory stero so I could plug in my IPod. But it handles well and it rides nice w/ cruse on the highway, even over the big hills. The front seat is not the beast fit for me, I am 6'3 and over 300lbs, but I mostly notice it on long trips.

Awesome small SUV

I really love this vehicle. I have owned most different types of cars by many different manufacturers and I also had a small Hyundai when they first came out. This is by far the best one yet. I stay in the $20,000 and less category so this vehicle is compared to others in that group. I didn't realize how much I would brag about my car. I even test drove the larger Santa Fe, prior to committing to the Tucson. It had more cargo room, but less driver/passenger space. I am impressed with the styling and performance. I honestly can not say enough great things about this vehicle! The price is great, the performance is very good and you will love the safety rating!

Excellent for small family

I bought this as my parents had a Hyundai Santa Fe. It seemed more economical and sporty and it was my 1st SUV. Reliability has been great and very few services (non-standard) necessary. The car is only 2 years old and the armrest has broken due to the cold. Unfortunately the cost is over $300 to replace it. The horn definitely needed to be upgraded. And finally, who still listens to cassette's anymore?

Excellent SUV all around

Have owned it for 15 months now and it has proven reliable, economic, and comfortable. I get 20 miles in the city and 26 hwy. It responds well to curves, acceleration, driving in the rain and wind, no sways. View out the windows is excellent with one flaw, the driver windshield/dashboard frame width along with wide mirror factor, which you have to move head several times to make sure you are not missing a car or pedestrian! VG heating and cooling, and door compartments and dash cubbies and armrest cubbies prevent clutter well. Nice dash lighting at night. Tiltable steering wheel and ease of locking in. Lights in cargo, passenger, even door side lights. Wonderful suv for the price and warranty

Comfortable ride. Good height but doesn't feel like it will tip over on hard turns. Good acceleration and braking ability. ESC works very well in mud and snow. Standard package is very well equiped. Power windows, locks, keyless entry,CD Player, Very good 6 speaker sound system, rear doors and back glass dark tinted from factory. Plenty of room for large beverages, one in each door and two in the console. Extra large console under the console tray and the lid is adjustable for tall people to use as an armrest.
