Used 2006 Hyundai Tucson Consumer Reviews
Love it, love it, love it!
I've only had this SUV a few months but I find that it is the perfect fit for me. I wanted something with more cargo room than my previous car but didn't want to be driving a ship. The Tucson fits the bill. It has a ton of cargo room when needed as all of the seats except for the driver's fold completely flat. This is done easily, too. It handles well and has a very tight turning radius. The sound system is excellent and the back seat is comfortable.
better mpg
i have owned my gls for a little over 2 monthes now and so far it has been good except for the gas mileage. it is rated between 19-24 mpg and have yet to reach even 19 mpg despite moderate driving. even on the highway only 18 mpg which bothers the heck out of me. other than the mpg is been a fun car to drive.

2006 Tucson
Fun to drive and cute too. I am very happy I purchased this vehicle. I would definitely buy another one. She turns on a dime and very easy to maneuver. Shifts smooth and the clutch is real easy. LOVE the stereo and all the 'standard features'. Excellent for the money! Can't wait for snow!
Hyundai Tucson
I bought the Tucson because of Hyundai's warranty. I bought the 4-cylinder because I hoped it would save on gas. I was wrong...it gets HORRIBLE mileage. I get 16-19 MPG consistently...which is lousy and not what was advertised. It has 34000 on it now and is falling apart. I take very good care of my vehicles, but it doesn't seem to make a difference with this one. I would not buy a Hyundai again.
Best value for the money
I had previous cars and this one beats them all. I mainly purchased this vehicle for safety reasons (air bags) and the warranty coverage. To top it off Hyundai recalls are almost nil and none for Tucsons. I used to believe in American cars but my last one had five recalls in two years and they were all safety related (Ford)! And one prior also had multiple recalls (Pontiac). I just got tired of going back to the dealer and waste my time on things that were supposed to be done right the first time. Japanese recalls are on the rise. Hyundai quality has really improved and since money is tight these days, I can't afford to spend it frivilously. It is the best bang for the buck.
