Used 2016 Hyundai Sonata Consumer Reviews
uncomfortable
I have a Sonata Limited 4 cylinder. The seats are extremely uncomfortable after an hour of driving. Car is way under powered.

Skid's Review
My wife and I loved this car and would have purchased the 2016 model but the exterior/interior color selections did not meet our requirement. We wanted a red or white exterior with a black leather interior. These combinations are not available. The only color interior available is light beige or light grey. Both show dirt too easily. The same held true for the KIA Optima. We ended up buying a Subaru Outback; Pearl white with black leather. We love it.

Phenominal Car -- Handling, quiet, everything
Bought this vehicle new, Dec 2016 (it had 108 miles on it). From the second I drove the vehicle off the dealer lot, I was absolutely in LOVE with it. From the simple things like doors that close like a luxury vehicle to the incredibly quiet/smooth handling at any/all speeds. I never once had a single problem with it. I literally shed some tears (if you think men should never show emotions, seek therapy!) when some ... someone here in the US that shouldn't have been, slammed into the back end of me at a red light. Car only had 78k miles. Sadly, he hit hard enough to create a crack all the way up to the floorboard and alas, 85% of value was damaged and voila, totaled. Of course, the other guy had no DL, license or insurance and thankfully, I had full coverage still. All I have to say, is do not ever accept the insurance's settlement/appraisal. I hired a third-party that arbatrated another $8700 cash value...enough for me to look again for another (now used) Sonata.
Should of saved up and bought a Toyota
What a hunk of junk. From paint falling off to several engine recalls and everything in between. These 2.4 GDI's eat oil and the idea of letting a dealerships child/mechanic/parts swapper under my hood gives me the creeps, so I'll keep adding oil untill I sell this P.O.S.

Best...Car...Ever!
I bought my silver 2016 Sonata SE(identical to the picture on this review) in the Summer of 2020 with 41K miles. I'm the second owner. Just over 4 years later, I am at 143K miles. I've heard many stories of good and bad experiences. I guess I'm a lucky guy, I've personally driven 102K miles on mine, and the ONLY things I've had to replace or repair are tires, brakes, oil, and the original battery (that was 8 years old). It still runs and drives like the day I bought it! If you take care of these cars, they will take care of you! This is my first Hyundai, and I'm a customer for life...

Best Overall Vehicle Owned
Overall, my 2016 Hyundai Sonata Limited has been the best car I have ever owned. The only downside is; that it does not have great traction when it snows.

Sonata Sport, a good dependable car.
My Sonata Sport has been a good running and very dependable vehicle. No major issues. All features have been functional since new. Only complaint is, inside cabin road noise. All Hyundai vehicles have this issue, we have owned three.

Not impressed with body style
Nice car, very roomy interior but not impressed with “boxy” body style. Think yellow cab.
