Love everything except the seats!

Immediately after we got the car we took a 4 hour trip that we usually do non-stop. But this time we had to stop to give our "butts" a break. around town there is no issue, but when we are on the road for over 3 hours it's impossible for the driver or the passenger to stay remain seated the entire time. I have the leather seats with massage function and heating and cooling. the massage function is a pleasure and the unlimited seat options make it very comfortable normally, but there is not enough padding on the bottom of the seat. I have been making that 4 hour trip for 204nyears in various SUVs and never had to stop. I am very pleased with the car otherwise and guess we'll just plan on making a stop on that and other trips over 3 hours. I'm not looking forward to my 10 hour trip to Florida this winter!

New Hot Mom Car

All the safety features a mom will love. I have 5 children and I'm at peace with the features that come with my new car no need to add any. As a mother nothing matters more. The side cameras, 360 cameras, and the auto collision stopping. In the front and rear. Lane assist, lane control, quiet noise, cooling seat in the middle row, and one touch button to let down the middle row. Also has shade screens built into the windows, rear ac locks, rear mirror for back seats built in to the top system, the intercom for the back rows as well. Honestly I could go on and on but it is a great vehicle with AMAZING features. Did I say built in wifi. Yes so the kids can remain entertained while we drive for long trips. Definitely a great family car.

Vibration/wobble 2024 Palisade

We bought our 2024 Palisade Limited 10-2023. We didn't test drive it since a new car shouldn't have issues. From day one, it's had a strange wobble/vibration. The dealer, and Hyundai corporate keep saying it's either a normal attribute of the car, or bad tires from the factory. They've flatly refused to replace the tires, claiming that tires aren't covered under warrantee, even if they were bad from day one. There's quite a bit of feedback on the web about vibration problems, but Hyundai refuses to acknowledge it. I'm extremely disappointed in the way I've been treated by the dealer, and by Hyundai corporate. I have another Hyundai which I love, but after the Palisade I won't buy another Hyundai

Great Vehicle but recent updates are not ideal

Shane, 08/07/2024

I had a 2020 Palisade and just purchased a 2024 Palisade. The vehicle is still the best value for the money you pay, but they have made a few updates to the vehicle that are not ideal. I would still give this car a 4.8 our of 5, but here are the less than ideal updates: 1. The head rest for the front seats. For whatever reason, they are pushed far forward and cause neck pain on long drives. This is an change from the 2020 version. These head rests are not adjustable, unlike some older versions of the Santa Fe that allow the head rest to move forward and back. It is not properly ergonomically designed. The seat forces your shoulder back but then pushes your head forward in an awkward position. It is so bad that I tried to swap head rests with the 2nd row (which doesn't have this design flaw), but they do not fit / swap. I find I do get neck pain on any drive over 2 hour. 2. The adaptive cruise control. In the 2020 model the cruise control was great. In the 2024 model, if you are on an open highway, the adaptive cruise control occasionally views medians as something you may "hit" so it drastically drops your speed as you enter a slight turn that has a median. This drop in speed is supposedly a safety feature, but what happens is that drop in speed is so dramatic that a car following you almost hits you because, for no reason, your car rapidly drops about 10 mph as you enter a corner, causing the car behind you to reduce their speed rapidly. Not sure why this changed from the 2020 model as it actually fails to provide safety because cars behind you gets impacted by your drop in speed and needs to adjust their speed. I find I can not use the cruise control on the 2024 model as much as I used it on the 2020 model because the "safety" features view too many regular road fixtures as hazards (almost like it is trying to be too "smart"). 3. The speed camera and red light camera alerts. Initially, this was a nice feature, especially in a town your are visiting. However, I drive a highway everyday that has 4 of these cameras. I get the warnings everyday about cameras I know are there. There is no way to turn this feature off. That being said, these are somewhat minor issues. The vehicle is great and has many top end features at a very reasonable price. Love the vehicle.
