I enjoy driving my 2022 Ioniq hybrid. It gets great gas mileage, around 50 mpg, and has great handling and plenty of power for my needs. I have recently run into a serious problem with trying to get the car inspected for emissions. The systems will not reset so the tech can run the test. I have driven it hundreds of miles in various conditions and nothing changes. At this point the technicians have no answer. The technician and dealership finally decided to replace the computer component causing the problem. $900 part covered by Hyundai warranty. Car passed emissions test and runs fine.

Love this vehicle! Rides great, no issues with it after years of ownership. Enough room for a compact, including a spacious storage area in the hatchback. One item; the front of the vehicle is too low to the ground and there have been numerous times that it has scraped lower road areas.

overall a very nice car. bigger wheels than sonata or elantra, more bells and whistles, good gas milage, doesn;t have that weird middle bar that an elantra has.

After purchasing a new 2017 Ioniq SEL and keeping it to the 120,000 miles point with - literally - no maintenance except oil drain, new brakes and new tires, I’m hooked on the Ioniq. 2017 SEL averaged 60 PMG. Donated the 2017 to a friend and bought a used 2020 Ioniq Limited with 2610 miles on it. Love the upgrades in the 2020 Limited and - after a short break-in period, averaging 58 MPG, I love this new model as much as I loved my 2017 Ioniq. It’s not as luxurious as my previous VolvoS60 was but it is comfortable enough for long road trips and the mileage can’t be beat.
