Didn't know much about Hyundai....
... was a little nervous buying one. I bought this car 11 mos. ago w/72000 miles on it. It now has 83000. I have had to replace front brakes/rotors, Tires, and Battery. I do a lot of up and down hill climbing and wanted to start with new rotors and brakes, Tires I nknew about when I bought it, and the Battery was originaland 5 yrs old. All regular maintenance in my opinion. I am 6'2" and 260lbs, and feel comfortable behind the wheel.
Black Beauty
I have a black elantra with a spoiler she's beautiful. She is so fun to drive and when I tell you I drive her I drive her hard. I pit her against mustangs and Cmaros and Vetts (although I have been laughed at numerous occasions, It's still fun. But I have no problem smokin civics with v-tech. The only real problems I had with her is that I had to get 3 new alternators and a new spark plug. I hooked up all sorts of audio equipment to the battery and that's when my alternators started going. Other than that she is a very reliable car.

reliable and easy on the pocket
I have owned this car for 5 years now and have no complaints about it. Obviously its not a sports car and should be driven as such. Its great for normal everyday commute and use. We drove it New York twoce in three years with no problems at all. The interior and exterior are holding up better than i expected and I have never had to use the warranty. Normal service and TLC does it. Very reliable, very down to earth, and extremely easy on the pocket.
my review Hyundai
good overall car for the money
VALUE! VALUE! VALUE!
HAD TO REPLACE TIRES AT 30000. OTHER THAN THAT CAR IS GREAT! YOU CAN'T BEAT THE QUALITY FOR THE PRICE. HYUNDAI HAS LEARNED THEIR LESSON FROM THE JUNK THEY USE TO PRODUCE. WE HAVE 3 HYUNDAIS IN THE FAMILY AND THEY'RE ALL GREAT...ESPECIALLY THE 2003 V6 TIB.
