Used 2003 Honda Element EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
It is a box.
Buy this car. The only problems that I have found after 5,000 miles is the blind spots. The A & B pillars are large, because of the reinforced cage, and sometimes become unfriendly blindspots. You really have to use your mirrors. Also the body panels. I love the look, but they scratch, not easily, but they do. I had someone back into me in a parking lot, not very hard, and it scratched the rear quarter panel. The guy wanted to pay out of pocket for the damage. I went to the dealer for the quarter panel. Price, $96.00. Not too bad. Overall I am happy with this fun, roomy vehicle.

Great to be in my Element
Even though this car is promoted for the young, it is very convenience for all ages. I have arthitis and found it difficult to enter a standard SUV but the design of the Element makes entering the car easy. Driving is fun again!
The auto for dog owners
This vehicle is perfect for dog owners. The back area with tie clips and the flip up seats are just what the doctor ordered for two medium sized dogs and muddy paws are no problem, just wipe it off.
Element AWD 5 speed MANUAL
Driving is beleiving. This is my first Honda and I am very impressed with the build quality of the interior. Everything is well thought out and I haven't heard a single rattle, jiggle, or squeek. The enginge is a little buzzy, but performs its task pretty well. The car is surprisingly nimble and very easy to manuver. The placement of the shifter, although seemingly strange, is brilliant, and seems natural after the first shift. In short, the thing drives like butter.
