Used 2003 Honda Element EX AWD 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Not as good as I expected
I think I got a bit of a lemon here. My Element has been back to the dealer 5 times in the 2 months I've had it - rear bumper not attached properly, steering wheel column cover fell off, rear view mirror came loose and several rattling noises corrected. I've owned 2 Honda's before and never had issues with build quality but now I have !

The Element
Always being asked where I got my Element, everywhere I go I have people asking me if they can check it out.For an SUV it gets great gas mileage, 26/hwy and 21/city.
My
When I first saw the Element I thought it looked like a mini Brinks armored truck. It drives like a car with smooth acceleration, a tight turning radius and lacks the tippy-feeling of most SUVs. The suicide doors make access to the child's car seat in the back easy except in tight parking stalls. It's got great head and leg room in the front, and the reclining seats in the back allow 6'4" people to ride comfortably. The stereo thumps, the rubber floors are easy to clean, and the rear privacy glass are all bonuses with the Element. I also like the fact that it's quite short (I have extra room in the garage). I love my Element.
Honda Element
Just bought the Element in time for the snow storm in Charlotte..had no problems getting around town. Excellant stereo system, nice interior. Spilled coffe the 2nd day in the floor, did not worry ..wiped right up, no stains..yeeha ..and I am not the targeted consumer, go figure Honda!
