The battery on this car is the size of a small motorcycle battery. My wife was stranded with no assistance from the helpful Honda man When I got them to reluctantly tow it Sierra Honda was not helpful at all. When I spoke to Pablo two days later he said it was brought in with a dead battery which is not true. When it was picked up by the tow truck all of the lights were on and the dash was flashing brake failure. Great. I have photos available for a lawyer in case of more issues Have yet to be contacted by the manager even though I left a message at the request of Sierra Honda.

This is not the Honda of old the outside is stylish and looks as nice as any in this class. Interior roomy and comfortable with plenty of storage. the turbo adds pick up and milage but this is not a rocket but suitable for entry to a highway. The weakness may be in the interconnect with the phone which now seems difficult the car is new but I have set up many phone interconnects and this ones tough.

Test drove the Equinox and Rogue. CRV surpassed both in acceleration and interior quality.

This is my followup review of the 2018, Honda CR-V, Touring model that I bought in February last year. I can't say enough positive things about my choice. I am just as pleased with my decision today as I was the day I bought it. I feel that I should make a correction to my original evaluation. I mentioned my "ex-wife husband." It should have been "ex-husband." (Don't you hate spellcheck?!) Anyway, this shiny, red CR-V has given me nothing but great service, good gas mileage, and comfort since my original evaluation. As I was trying to compare it to the other sports car, it was love at first sight with it. I had researched the Toyota RAV and the Subaru, as well. All great reviews and the features that were important to me. I drove my friends' RAV, and it is what convinced me I wanted one of the three. When I sat in and drove the CR-V, the choice was made! Since we all have to have something to say, short of perfection, I would re-design one thing. The knob that controls the temperature for the comfort control of the driver's side is very close to the volume control of the audio system. Of course, there is another audio system control on the steering wheel. So, that is not a problem once I learned how to find it. The '18 model is taller than previous models, and shorter folks might complain about that. I am 5'5", but I have leg and back problems. My solution was to add what I call "running boards." On good days, I don't need them. They do come in handy for shorter folks and children. Beware of buying a bright, shiny color! Be ready to buy some covers for the side mirrors. The birds do, too! Everyone is amazed at the room inside. Mine has been packed with more than I ever thought it would hold. Comfort and room in the back seats! I have read that some people do not like the initial speed of the turbo engine, but I have no problem with mine at any speed. I like the warning signals, but I am glad that so far my driving doesn't require them to activate. The lights on the side mirrors that tell you another car is near is a handy feature. You can turn any of the features off, if they bother you, of course. When mine had its first "big" servicing, everything was perfect except it was out of line. I expected that, because of the conditions of the roads in this general area and the construction of the road I travel to get in and out of where I live. In spite of the low mileage, it has been on a pretty long trip and on some rough side roads. So, it did not surprise me when that was something that had to be corrected. In case someone is considering the CR-V as a rough-n-tough, off-road family car, I would discourage it. The owner's manual tells you that it not meant for off-road driving. I experienced that when a car stopped in front of me in the pouring rain and I had to stop. It was my fault that I hydroplaned, I guess (the car in my lane had come to a full stop!). The CR-V handled perfectly, stopped immediately, but I ended up sideways on gravel. When it was clear to re-enter the road, the CR-V reluctantly did so; but, it let me know it didn't like it! (The words from the manual were true!) For a family fun car that is going places other than city and on highway driving, the RAV is a better choice. The CR-V continues to make the top 10 of the best cars in all kinds of categories. The most recent list I saw was the most economical to own. I think you can tell I am still sold on Honda's CR-V!

Shop around for the best price. We checked prices with seven dealers and found one with superior pricing and superior customer service. Of course we went with them. Still love the car but being over 6 ft. tall and 235 lbs the seats could be a little more comfortable for road trips. (Front passenger seat very uncomfortable and hard to adjust.) Car runs great but seats are very uncomfortable and not easy to adjust.
