I Really Regret Buying this Car!

When my 2012 Chevy Traverse was on it's last leg, I decided I wanted to get a new car. It was between a Toyota Rav4, Kia Sorrento and the Honda CRV. I was ultimately won over by the CRV's claimed gas mileage, resale value and great reviews. I went with a new LX all wheel drive. While I initially noticed that the front seats were super firm, I was told that they'd get softer the longer I sat in them. I bought my car at the end of March and by mid to late April I started having really bad hip and low back pain. I eventually ended up going to Urgent Care and underwent a series of hip, leg and back x-rays, which were all read as normal. The pain continued off and on. During that same time my seats were still really uncomfortable, so I bought a cushion from Amazon that helped some. I didn't ever connect my hip, back and leg pain with my uncomfortable car seats until I googled it a few months later and saw that others were having similar problems. Totally blew my mind that a seat could cause those kinds of problems! I'm only 41, in good health, coach soccer, go to the gym, etc. and have never had these problems before. I'm so bummed because I don't want to take a big loss on this car. I ordered a custom set of thicker seat cushions that I'm going to try and if that doesn't work, then I'm going to get rid of the car. I should note, however, that my husband does not find the seats uncomfortable. I am 5'7" and average sized and he is much taller and larger. My 15 year old son and 12 year old daughter havecomplained about the seat comfort. On a recent road trip, my son rode in the front seat and about an hour into the trip he was complaining that his butt hurt and he wanted to get out and walk around. He's about 5'9" and 155 pounds. Also of note, I average about 24 miles per gallon and I was hoping for better mileage. The road noise and rough ride is also disappointing.

I bought this vehicle 5 months ago. I purchased it new. I bought the sandstorm one with tan seats. The seats stain easily. A water bottle leaked and left a stain. I can get it out but it is annoying. The windshield cracked after a rock his the window and the crack spread quickly. And a warning light came on stating "Shutter Grille Problem. Power Reduced." I was on the highway and the power was reduced. I still don't know what caused it. But with all of that I do love the car. It is just the right size, and the gas mileage has been great. It is a little loud when driving but I am ok with that.

Honda CRV has a fatal design

This CRV has a fatal design for its keyless function. When you sit in the car, holding the key on your left hand to close the door while you starting up the car with your right hand, the car will lock itself automatically. Because it detects that the key is not INSIDE the car. Although the screen shows "please put the key close to the start up button", but it never let you start up again.(Or maybe it need to wait for a really long time, I never try) Call their CS but nearly no help. Their customer service is one of the worst customer service in the world. Never answer you any question. Last time I try to call them for how to turn off the tire pressure light after I fix my flat tire, they try to charge me $130. But it is a button just located under the steering device you need to push. So lame!

Tire Trouble

I bought a 2018 Honda CRV in December 2017. I could not be more disappointed. I commute to work about 120 miles a day. The tires on the back of the car are worn at 23,000 miles. I was told this was acceptable, however I disagree. Also, Honda claims that the car alerts consumers when the tires need to be rotated. However, they fail to say it is not an indicator that comes up on the dashboard (like the oil change light), but a code you have to open the maintenance portion of the information panel of the car. Finally, I have had issues with my iPhone connection in the car, which controls the radio, apps, navigation, etc. Sometimes all apps are present and working. Sometimes they are not. Apps are on your phone and disappear without warning from the screen. Overall, on paper this looks like a great car, but in real life, it is a true disappointment! Do not buy!
