Shopped around for a couple of months before deciding to purchase a new Honda Suv My previous one had horribly uncomfortable seats. That was 8 Years ago. Have only had this one two days; so far no complaints on comfort. Overall great looking; good fuel economy, love the technology. Very roomy. Good visibility. My only concern at this point is road noise. I would classify it as excessive. I've had a Ford Expedition and a Honda Pilot; both were 4-wheel drive and much less road noise. I'm going to try my carpeted floor mats to see if that helps otherwise the car may be going back to the dealer on day number three.

I did a lot of research for a reliable, efficient and safe vehicle. The first year was great and now the cons list seems to be growing. I've spoken to other 2013 CRV owners and they are running into a lot more problems than us - a lot that had been listed here - that I'm afraid we will be running into soon too. This car is in immaculate condition and things just keep happening for no reason. I bought this new and went from a loaded Chevy to what feels like a stock SUV. Pros: Trunk space Exterior look Safe Gas mileage Cons: Very heavy doors for a smaller person Speakers have terrible sound quality Steering wheel started flaking and falling apart less than a year into owning Crunching sound when first starting Rear view camera just broke for no visible reason Cheap feeling interior - leather and plastics No garage door button Manual passenger side seats Heated seats only have one zone - back and seat instead of each having its own function Dual heat/AC is ineffective - one zone controls both no matter what the temp difference is No pickup LOUD road noise Thin feeling doors when it's cold - not sure how this works since the doors are so heavy Manual hatchback closure - I'm under 5'2. Closing the hatchback when it's dripping and covered in winter can be messy

Honda Crv Ex-l 2013, 2016 and now a 2019. All of these vehicle are well made and a delight to drive. Vacation every year lots of miles no issues. We always felt safe driving in these vehicles. Can't wait to drive my new 2019 on a long road trip.Honda really upgrades their products year after year with the customers safety and comfort in mind. Go buy or lease one and see why. Also my dealers service department is the best.

Nice automobile, but for an EX-L it is bare bones equipment. Put 5500 miles on so far. Acceleration has gotten better, mileage good but the seats are awful. I have never had such a sore behind in my life. My wife and I are of small build and the seat is firm right in the middle where your tailbone rides. My tailbone feels like its on fire in just ten minutes of driving, hers too, either seat. Its going to the upholstery shop soon. If he can't fix it then it will be sold. Who designed those seats. They must be like the accord seats everybody complains about. Called Honda, they don't seem interested in helping me out, see the dealer. UPDATE: Sold this car because the seat could not be made comfortable. Took it to a shop and took it apart, it is designed to be hard in the middle. A.C. was marginal especially on a hot day, no right side blind spot mirror, wiper control moved down for ON position, rear cargo only had two plastic hooks to secure items in back, poor towing abilities, Odd window lock operation, must buy Honda racks to use roof rack $$$, resale was not very good, Acceleration was poor on a hot and humid day with the air running, it seemed as though the air did not have a max. ability for cooling quickly. Bought a Ford and we like it very much. I would rather have my Ford serviced than drive that miserable Honda just to say we have a Honda. Now I know all that car rating business is a sham. Who could miss all these issues with a car that is supposed to be so great and it was the top trim level Honda offered. Also forgot to mention that with the Honda we had to buy leather seats and a sunroof, about $3,500 more just to get a powered drivers seat. Don't have that problem with the ford. Got rid of it around 15,000 miles. Got rid of the Honda a long time ago. It was not as great as all those biased car critics claim.

Owned this car for 15,000 miles. The seats are hard and crowned in the middle. Tried to fix them with the help of an upholstery shop. unless you are very large or very young you will not like these seats. They get very painful the more you drive this car. I believe the car critics are a bunch of biased reviewers to have missed this glaring short coming. How could anyone miss the fact that these seats are terrible. A friend at work wife has a CR-V and he says the same thing. Bought an Escape and it makes the Honda look and feel like it was a ten year old car. On a hot day we had to put the fan on high and turn temp to 65 and it barely worked. hot day with people in car and it would not accelerate very well. Plastic hooks in rear to hold cargo, wiper switch goes down to turn it on, right side mirror has no blind spot mirror, towing is only 1000 lb., no package to upgrade, can't use roof rack without buying more Honda parts. Odd operation of the window locks. the honda may be reliable but you will hate the car the whole time you drive it. Compare some other vehicles before you buy one of these. There are nicer vehicles, even if you must pay a little more. Had to buy the top trim level just to get a power seat. $3500 just to get a power seat. What a rip-off. Typical foreign car. Top trim level and yet it had very few features. Their reliable because they don't build anything new and there are very few intuitive features.
