Used 2016 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Great looking car and good value
First off, this car is very sharp! I bought it 3 years used on lease return and have had numerous compliment and people thinking its brand new. The exterior and interior are sharp. High way mileage is 37 mpg and 39.5 mpg in econ mode. City I average 23-27mpg, 32.5-34 mpg overall. for 185 Hp its very sporty and the CVT transmission is easy to get use to. The "rubber band" feel isn't bad and I like how smooth it is. Good leg and space room. The EX-L is worth the extra $. Lot's of features and key less entry, push start and such makes it feel like a nice luxury car. The seats are decent, people complaining should try the civic and see how much better this is! Cons: little bit of wind noise on high way past 65 mph, but is minor and not even noticeable with if the stereo is on low. Stereo is so so, could of been tuned a little better, but gets the job done. I would like volume knobs, but you learn to live without. The center arm rest could be longer, but still usable. Overall a very nice car for the $ and I'm happy with the purchase.

Lease and will Purchase
Great looking car. Nobody believes it's a Honda. Easy, no hassles or headaches. Handles extremely well for a front wheel drive car. Very fast. Love the engine sound. If there were such a thing as a future Honda classic, this may be it. They don't make them anymore.

Liking Accord Coupe more and more
I bought this car new largely because of good experience with a ‘14 Civic Si 6-speed previously purchased and still owned. The Accord coupe was viewed as a larger, more sedate version of that car that more reasonably fit me (replacing a Miata) than a Civic. Initially I thought that the 4 cyl Accord mated to the CVT with paddle shifters would be a mileage compromise over a V6 automatic, with better performance. I’ve changed my opinion in that the CVT can function quite well as a simulated 7-speed and in that regard functions similar to other manumatics and doesn’t really remind you that it is a CVT. Performance and economy of the 2.4L with CVT has been a pleasant surprise. The coupe body style is handsome, but in retrospect the sedan is probably more than a bit more practical, but also less fun to drive. The car is solidly reliable, fairly comfortable in a sporty way and certainly economical, but insurance costs are way higher than they should be (check those out before buying). After driving a Ford Fusion Hybrid rental recently, I was reminded how much more road noise gets transferred with the Honda cars. Traded Feb 2020 for a 2017 BMW M249i conv.

KB 2016 Accord Sport
I really LOVED my car when I bought it. The beautiful styling and nice wheels stood out from other brands and models. After having my car over a year my LED daytime running lights went out TWICE and the dealership didn't want to replace them but mentioned that it was an issue from other customers. I paid almost 6 hundred to get them fixed even with Honda paying half of the repair cost. After this incident my a/c fan became VERY noisy and would constantly stop working. I had to get it replaced out of warranty. Besides these issues I like my car overall.
