2005 EX V6 4dr Accord

Our Accord has been a pleasure to drive. The powerful V-6 lessens the stress of driving because it adds confidence. Changing lanes in commuter traffic is now much easier. Entering busy highways seems safer as well. The cabin is quiet and the ride is fairly smooth. We didn't ask for the XM radio system but our car already had it. It's a big plus. Our 4 door vehicle is white and looks clean even when it isn't. We have mud flaps, a wing spoiler and a moon roof air deflector. All three add nicely to the "look." The car stands out nicely when parked next to other lessor optioned Hondas. Visibility for backing up lacking. The car is also longer than we thought. We are very happy with the car.

Like the overall body styling but, the rear lights are ugly (sad face look). Would like better color choices, the blue is too flashy and other choices are not very appealing.

Another Great Accord

We purchased our Accord at the end of May. This is our third Accord. We traded an '04 Acura TL (a big disappointment) for the V6 EX. The Accord continues to be a great car. It is no wonder that it continues to win awards year after year. We have 5000 miles on it and have only had one issue with the glove box not being tight (rattle). The acceleration is almost as quick as the TL without the TL's torque. The car is much quiter and smoother than the TL. Unless your primary concerns is looks, "toys" and prestige you get a much better car for less money with the Accord

Love my new Accord EX V6

On New Year's Eve I purchased a new 2005 Accord EX V6 Sedan. I keep my cars a long time and wanted a car I knew I could count on to last 10 years or more. My first Honda was a new 77 Accord and I have owned several others down through the years with the last one being a new 91 Accord EX Sedan, and each of them was a great car. I selected the Accord because of the high performance V6 engine, the 5 speed automatic and its styling, which is much more attractive to me than the Camry. I have had it 3 months now and I really love it. I can recommend this car without reservation and if you like performance I guarantee you will like having the V6!

Hard to get rid of

Handing this off to college age daughter and after looking at the 08 accord and others I don't want to get rid of it. Its been everything I expected it to be. When guests get in they talk about how nice it is. My father raves about the color (red). It so fun to drive and can't imagine ever owned a 4 cyl now. But it's nothing to brag about from the outside. very plain.
