Used 2004 Honda Accord EX V-6 4dr Sedan (3.0L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
11 years and still Awesome!
I bought my Accord brand new, in November of 2003. I have always taken it to the dealership. I have had all of the problems that everyone else has. To date, I only have 72k on it. I have a work vehicle and don't drive to and from work. First was a recall on the transmission, then the radio went out, then just scheduled services. Then just recently, I have been having flickering headlights. Took it to the dealership, had it checked, bad battery(not it), then changed out the Alternator(not it), then read that the ELD goes up on 2003/2004 accords around 100k or ten years. After 2k of fixes it is brand new. Now just looking for the transmission to go up soon. Its all worth it, I love this car!
When U Buy a Honda V6, kick ass!
Honda is an Engine builder! Better engines than any I have ever owned..If only they could "better isolate the cabin", they would exceed Lexus and Mercedes for "the total car"...

BAD NAME WITH HONDA
I honestly have become disappointed with this car - I have owned this car for over 6 years and ever since I went over the 100K in miles (the past two years - currently at 121K) - This car has completely fallen apart.. I have never missed an oil change or maintenance - I have copies of ever invoice since bought at 21K miles. I just found out today I have to have the MOTOR replaced, this after replacing the Power Steering Pump, hoses, axle, arms, door locks, needs new battery every year and many moe items. Every six to seven months I am spending 600- 1K on work and now 3K to replace the motor.
2004 Accord EX V6
I have owned several Honda's over the years. The 2004 Accord EX V6, is really nice. They have upgraded the interior and interior features. This car has all of the features of the lower end luxury cars, at thousands less in price. The XM radio is a great plus. The ride and road noise is much better than Honda's of the past. The V6 gets up and goes. The speedometer is huge and has new lighting. There is plenty of trunk space.
5 yrs 120K still drives like new.. really
I traded my '03 BMW 530i for this car in 2004 due to reliability issues. At the time, I really felt I was taking a step down. However, this is hands down the best car I've ever owned. What it loses in coolness, it makes up for with quality, comfort, economy, & bullet proof reliability. I have over 120K on it now. Apart from routine maint. it has needed nothing. Not a single thing. No squeaks, rattles. Interior materials top notch, wearing well. Engine actually has more pull now than when new & smooth as ever. Avg. 25mpg on regular. Have tried to come up with a reason to trade it in for a fancier car, but can't. Still offers more features than many new luxury makes in 2009.
