Used 2010 GMC Terrain SLT-2 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
Disappointed mpg
Love the vehicle (traded a Yukon xl) not happy with the mileage - averaging 23 mpg - have over 9,000 miles on it. The chrome latch on the dash storage compartment and chrome around console controls is quite blinding when the sun hits it right.
2010 Torrent (GMC) Review
One of the best cars we have bought in many years. Love GM products.

glad we discovered it.
We have been looking for quite a while. We checked out EVERYTHING, even the lux brands. There seemed to be no good values out there. The only quality we found was in the very expensive price range. Because of past experience, we didn't even consider buying American. Then we saw a Terrain add, did online searches and read reviews. After visiting the dealer and test driving, we were sold on a SLT-2. Drives solid, quiet, and handles better than the foreigners. The interior is functional, spacious and beautiful. The exterior is cutting edge, macho, yet elegant. The chrome wheels rock. I was glad to suppport American industry again after 30 yrs. of buying foreign
Awesome,, but a couple of annoyances
The gas mileage is about 19 mpg, with city and highway driving. The fact that the pax seat is not available in power is annoying. It doesn't bother my wife but when I sit in it , it sits too high. No one touch power windows! Come on this is the top of the line model! The turning is awful. I had a Ford Edge before this and I thought that was bad, I didn't realize how good I had it. The 19 inch chrome wheels are sweet, however I worry about some thug stealing the center cover piece that goes over the lug nuts. It is chrome and has the GMC insignia and just snaps off. I can see it falling off if you bump a curb. The vehicle is very popular, hard to find in stock anywhere. Paid 35k loaded
This truck saved my family's life
This is one of the safest cars I've ever owned. My daughter, her 5 year old son and myself, were in a car accident, where or truck was hit on the driver's side by a 1999 Tahoe @ a Rapid speed. It pushed us to the curve, then it flipped on the passenger side and then we flipped upside down. My grandson was pinned upside down against the passenger side window, however still in his seat belt. But out of his carseat hanging over his mother's head, all the windows broke out. But every window had a airbag in front of it.To see what the truck looked like while outside of it & after it was turn right side up, anyone would has thought no one made it out a live. However we did with alot of pain and bruises nothing broken. God kept us here for a reason! Had it have been a smaller car, I don't think we would be here today.
