"shift to park"
my 2019 Acadia has been great for six yrs. and I would buy another when the time comes. I love the size, features available and reliability with just regular maintenance. I have 42,700 miles and first major issue has occurred, "Shift to Park" where I had to have the whole shift gear unit replaced at my expense which was not cheap. No recall but a class action lawsuit is pending. I am not the only person that has had this issue. Hopefully no one gets injured with this issue and Gm will recall vehicles before someone does. but my car if fixed and running great again .

2019 Acadia Denali
Love the car just not the problem. First the car wouldn’t shift into park. Had to take it to the dealer ship to fix. Truck issue I’m not sure what happened but wouldn’t close then it chipped the red light but I’m guessing the missed that when it came of the truck. Also from aaa chipped in three places the patches them up. But seriously I’m just tired of going back every time.
My Denali
Beautiful eye-catching car that I traded for after having two Lincoln MKT crossovers. The Denali is a bit higher and has a noticeably harder ride, though. Lots of technology and impressive fit and finish. The wheels are bigger (both had 20 inch tires) but wider and more off-roadish for lack of a better descriptive. Hands down, the MKT is far more comfortable and car-like than the Denali, though. The Denali has 310 horses, which makes it run like a rabbit. The MKT, however, had 365 hp derived from the twin turbo V6. Almost no comparison. Bottom line, I like the GMC Acadia Denali but it has its shortcomings.
