Used 2022 Genesis GV80 Consumer Reviews
Smooth ride, wonderful cabin, neck turning looks
I cant be any more satisfied with purchase. I got the v6 drivetrain with AWDfor my wife. Ride quality is gloriously magnificent, does not lose to any other luxury brands in this category, feels as if I am riding through clouds instead of hard asphalt road. Inside cabin is simple and yet refined and elegant - I much prefer this over some other makers' cluttered panels. Lastly, I notice many people doing double takes of this car. I am mightily pleased with the design - those on the design team (interior as well as exterior), along with the chassis and drivetrain team definitely nailed this one. I am also looking to purchase gv70 for myself as I prefer smaller vehicle when it comes out.

Only my 1st month
The ride i would give a "4+" though it is semi-scary when you veer slightly out of lane and it pulls you back, one may feel temporarily out of control for that millisecond. I am 67yo (was in software for 20 yrs) and easily frustrated by the logic flow of the advanced technology inside (i even got a text my window was open and i went down and no windows were open??) CALLED CONNECTED SERVICES 5X FOR 5 SEPARATE ISSUES AND NO ONE KNEW ANY ANSWERS and did not elevate me to someone who may know...SO SUPPORT IS A "ZERO"

Great car, terrible “service”
2021 GV80 2.5t Prestige. Wonderful car with a couple little minor annoyances which I’ve not bothered with yet. Have had this car one year so it’s time for its first service appt (6k miles now). Schedule service/valet through the app (all the tech was one major reason for purchasing). Got confirmation text. Service appt time came and went with no valet. Called dealership and they’d never even heard of me. (I bought the car out of state but during the purchase they asked which dealer would be servicing it.) Gave them all the info that they should have already had. Then, said first available appt with valet service isn’t for another month. REALLY?? So now I’m driving my car myself to the dealer (an hour away). No big deal EXCEPT that the service valet is supposed to be part of the “luxury ownership experience” and I’m paying for that. Monthly. A lot. Called the next closest dealer to my home. This was fun! Asked the guy when their first valet service appt would be available and I got, and no, I’m not making this up, “Do we service Genesis? Do we even sell those?” I’m not joking. I’m furious. Love that beautiful car sitting out in my garage but my god, this is not the experience I was hoping for. (Sold a Dodge Durango Citadel for this and had a MUCH better service experience the 10 years I owned it.) You’ll love the car. You’ll HATE the “service.”

Yes High Tech but with software glitches
Software issues with navigation…Apple CarPlay…lane change assist…cameras for collision avoidance system with only 6000 miles…Genesis luxury service is substandard compared to other luxury brands…Genesis needs to step up and improve their image and convince car buyers with their retail & service repair…this is my 2nd Genesis and I’m not impressed but disappointed with the new GV80 with advance/prestige package
