Too many annoying little problems

Yes. It is a nice looking truck. The drive is good, the acceleration is fine, it feels fine. However, many little things ruin the good experience. The acceleration is noisy and it feels like the transmission is slipping . Just a feeling but annoying. The stop/start feature is surely a matter of preference, but it feels like the start is delayed, not quick enough for some maneuvers. There is a switch to turn it off but it must be done every time you turn engine on. The monitor for radio and other electronics often freezes and/or there is no sound. It resets after turning the car off. But sometimes stays frozen for a long time. That should not be happening in a 6 months old truck. The front door storage is practically unusable. Ford and many reviewers made a big deal how clever the design is, but it doesn’t work. The place for bottles is so shallow that they can’t stay straight. They fall the moment you start driving. Well, if you don’t mind these little issues, the truck is fine. My model is XLT, 4 turbo,

Got this for the utility and gas mileage. Beyond happy with it so far. Getting 800 miles out of each 13 gallon tank fill. Came with a surprising number of features on the base model. Hauled a 1400 pound load of flooring across 3 towns with no issues and the gas mileage continued climbing the whole trip. Awesome truck.

Sub par standard options

Overall the vehicle is pretty decent and what we were looking for, but some of the options are confusing to me. How any 30,000$ vehicle in 2023 doesn't come with power mirrors is baffling, not even a toggle to adjust from the inside. If you and your spouse are sharing the car it makes things very annoying, especially in wet and cold weather. I would gladly give up some of the fancier tech and novel options for something that get used daily.

I must say I was frustrated with the ordering process, with Ford and their dealers gouging their customers when the vehicle you ordered comes in. Yes, I have ordered two of these trucks one in 2022 and another in 2023 and when they came into the dealer, the dealer told me I had to pay market adjustment value for both of the trucks I had ordered. I said no thank you. But I have managed to find a slightly used one and got a very good deal. My first tank driving it home from the dealer was 47 miles per gallon. Mostly rural Road 65 mph. Second tank was almost all city driving and 55 mile an hour roads where I live. I got a 53 miles per gallon. Wow what can I say I’m driving a Prius truck! So glad I stuck it out and waited to get this gem of a truck💎

Vibration

I have 2023 awd Maverick and get vibration at 1500 rpm’s and below. Also drivers side tail light has a large gap between metal and light. Rear wheel walls plastic hangs and are defective. Took to the dealership and they said they can’t feel the vibration which isn’t true. And the rest they said is not their problem. WHAT!
