Used 2014 Ford Fusion Consumer Reviews
My return to Ford after 20 years.
My last ford (89 F250) was junk. I traded it in to get a more reliable truck, telling myself I was done with Ford. Then I saw the 2014 Fusion and fell in love. Mine is a SE 2.5l in Deep Impact Blue. After researching I decided to give it a try. The test drive sold me, and I got a very good deal. So far I have 43k miles in 4 years with no mechanical issues at all. One set of tires and several oil changes is the extent of my required service. It's not all perfect though: In the SE package the drivers seat is manual, and the seat is too low for my 5'2" wife to see over the dash. She needs to sit on a pillow. This may or may not be a problem for you. Only one recall albeit a serious one: steering wheel nut may come loose. In summation, this is the best car I've ever owned (so far). I can highly recommend it.

Frugal sport
Bought my all black Fusion 2 years ago with 30k miles for 16k drive out. Now have 62k miles and zero issues. Handles great, avg mpg 24 combined, very comfortable. Could use 50 more horses. Overall super pleased!

135k and no issues and fun to drive
Bought my 2014 Ford Fusion new and now at the end of 2020 and 135k miles, no problems. A few notes though, the 1.5l ecoboost needs timing belts, which costs a bit. Try to get another engine size as this is the only one that has belts, the rest have timing chains which don't require replacement. The ride for me is a little 'sporty/ meaning that you feel bumps and the steering is kind of twitchy. I recently rented a Jetta and that was more 'dead' type of steering, which I actually prefer. Less Drama. I cal the car a 'roller' since once up to 75-85 or so on the highway it wants to go this or faster. Let off of the gas and it stays pretty close to the same speed. Nice highway performance and the engine is really spunky and fun to drive. i still think it's one of the best looking cars on the road and is a great value and highly reliable with no issues at all.

So impressed we bought another Fusion
We use the Fusion to commute between two states and put about 1000 miles on it bi-weekly. When our 2014 got to about 75,000 miles we traded it in for a new2017 AWD Fusion eco-boost. Several nice updates but it's the same, exceptionally well handling vehicle vehicle we've come to rely on.
