RUN away from the fusion
I bout my Fusion from a BMW dealership in schererville,In with only 55,000k for 1.5 L engine on the dash. It wasn't until 2019 when i finish paying off my car that the problem start happening. 1. The Rear backup camera system stopped working. ford knew it was a problem with the software but will not fix it. 2. The lug nuts that holds your tires together are plastic material with a that will damage with ease if once if you have to change your tires. Buy all new lug nuts on Amazon will save you alot of money and headache in the long run. 3. Antifreeze is leaking into my engine now and ford offers to do nothing at all about it. Even tho 230,000 consumers complained about the fusion . Escape and other models doing it. They refuse to issue a recall on it. They want to bill the consumer $8000.00 to fix there defective vehicles. I will necklace buy another ford in life.

Just purchased a Ford Fusion SE 2014
I love this car.I just purchased it so I don't have a lot of miles on it yet.The ride is very comfortable and noise free. The 4 cylinder 2.5 L is plenty for driving through the city or highway. This car is what I like to say " A champagne car on a beer budget".
Taurus or Fusion
I currently own a 2011 Taurus and I was looking for another one. Then I started seeing these Fusions on the road, I really love the way the front end looks. The rear could use some work though. I only drive about 8 miles per day so it wasn't a huge sacrifice on comfort not getting a Taurus. So I bought a used 2014 w/1.5l eccoboost and it's very responsive, that was my main concern. It still is very comfortable for the size and has a nice quiet cabin. Test drive one and see.
