I bought brand new In February 2016 and it was a dream to have so beautiful but had throttle body issue at 25,000 miles it would turn off engine completely and would cruise on electric battery until I parked safely and turned back on after a minute . It now has 56,000 miles I have not had that issue since it’s been replaced with warranty and nothing else has come up and I’m loving it as my daily drive for the past 5 years Update 10-13-21 61,000 miles and still runs like a clock no issues I didn’t know that with these hybrids they don’t wear out the breaks so that’s great! Update 4-13-22 65,000 miles and it’s still running like new! Just got her an oil change last week and that’s it have done no other maintenance. Oh of course air and cabin filter but that’s it. I’ve heard you don’t have to do a transmission flush on these just drain and fill so I’ll probably do that in the next 10,000 miles or so Update 4-13-23 at 80,000 miles now no issues just synthetic oil changes and I’m not going to change transmission fluid heard you don’t have to until 150,000 miles and others on fusion hybrid Facebook Group said they never change it and it runs fine so until I start feeling problems then I’ll do it but great vehicle runs like new still! Update 4-13-25 94,000 mile a couple 1,000 miles ago the cpu went out but I think it was my fault while getting off a double I helped a neighbor with a jump and I mixed the positive and negative and caused the battery to go out on my vehicle so bought new one and shortly after the cpu went out so replaced and now works like new

My car is just hitting 125,000. Great gas mileage, very quiet, comfortable seating, and super low maintenance. Other than basic maintenance, my vehicled has required no service. Not bad for 6+ years!!

Transmission issues

First transmission replacement required at 106 K miles, the dealership replaced with a “refurbished” transmission. Luckily we have a 2 year Extended warranty, since the transmission failed 18 months later. We’ve waited over a month for new transmission now; and will definitely get the 2 year warranty again. This is a one-owner car, driven very conservatively and always regular maintenance. Excellent gas mileage; love the car except for transmission issues.

UPDATE now having over 120K miles and 6 years in it, I still love this car. Over 42 MPG average for all driving conditions. Have enjoyed every moment of driving this car. Quiet. Comfortable. Efficient. STILL have more struggle to get in and out than I would like, but its a sedan and that's the price for value over SUV. After 5 years still VERY reliable, no issues at all. And nothing seems to be wearing out. ar

2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid (Titanium) I am averaging 49+mpg. Active cruise control set to 68mph. 120miles per day for work, mostly highway. This includes some AC. Make stops much longer to recapture energy. I do slower starts than I use to, but they car can get up and go if I want, or need to. Driving to vacation and back at 80+ got me 42mpg. I still fill up the same amount of times, but the tank is much smaller, so instead of a 14Gal fill up I am only doing 7-8gal.
