Great So Far
2022 F150 XLT in rapid red with chrome package. Only 1K miles so far but no issues outside of a the funky rubber boot in the drop in bed liner that makes it tough to push the button for the bed lights. Truck rides incredibly smooth and quiet compared to the F350 I owned previously, and highway mpg is about 27 - incredible.
22 F150 2,7EB payload package
Passed on a 21 KR then set my sights on a 22 XLT 302à 2.7EB payload package that the to glitzy of a19 701à Platinum was traded for. The 19 was a max tow and a great vehicle just not my type of vehicle. The 22 XLT 302a has what is needed to be a useable TRUCK that meets both needs for work and doing daily tasks. The 2.7EB matched to the payload package is the F150 secret package that exceeds in both areas. This is a keeper truck. Just oil changes and Ford recalls done on the truck.

Very pleased
If I could afford it the upgraded package I would’ve put got everything I asked for except an easy way to get into the bed
When life gives you lemons, use the lemon law!
First off, I had a 2020 Ford Explorer St which was riddled with issues and many, many dealer trips. Used the lemon law and settled out of court. Due to this, I said this is probably a one off thing and let me go buy the best selling vehicle in America. I go to my local Ford dealer, build a 22 Ford F-150 Lariat 5.0 but about every option save a pano moon-roof. Three months later, I take delivery for a cool 70k.. One week into ownership the issues start. I am at the store and come out to leave, start my truck and the B&O sound system goes berserk by making the loudest whomp, whomp sound the 19 speakers could produce. Long story short, drove home with this noise, lost some hearing in my left ear temporarily and the only way to stop it was to disconnect the battery cable! The problems did not stop there. -blowns speakers as a result of the aforementioned story -two engine oil seals leaking oil -power window making a popping noise due to factory misaligned window sill -front bumper also factory misaligned and had to be replaced -windshield washer motor replaced -back sliding glass rattled when the music was up-replaced -engine rattles like crazy upon start up and never fixed due to the dealer saying 'ALL FORD ENGINS RATTLE"... -Drivers powers window switch died and replaced -Center stack power shift level malfunctioned and had to be replaced -a few different recalls from Ford. -transmission started to shift rough and jerky, and my dealer was backed up 6 months for the transmission guy, so I never had it looked at. I sued Ford once again under my states lemon law and they settled with me. Then I promptly traded it in. Ford F-150 lost a ton of value over a 16 month period. 21k to be exact. I was amazed. This is now two back to back high dollar UNION MADE Fords that I purchased only to have tons of problems in which I lemoned. By contrast, my wife bought a 2022 VW Tiguan, made in Mexico (sadly) by NON UNION labor and has not had one warranty issue in 10k miles and 17 months of ownership. So, I say shame on the American union made junk we produce in this country. I traded my truck in for a 24 VW Atlas R-Line and couldn't be happier. This is coming from a long time truck owner of various brands. Before you buy, research that Ford paid out over 2 billion in warranty claims for their products in 2022, the most of any US car manufacturer. I wish I had done more research before I bought. Ford today is not your daddy's Ford company. Sadly.
