Ford lack of quality and accountability
Platinum PB Edmunds can’t figure out different engine options exist. Ford POS, electrical issues constantly, the Hybrid isn’t meant to be used sparingly, the battery system starts going haywire, 10R80 10spd Transmission is crap, Ford had lied and withheld information for years regarding blatant hardware defect in the transmission. Value is abysmal.

Why
Generally I like the truck. The rear seat configuration is verry nice. Being able to fold part of the seat up for extra room works well with my rolling walker to keep it out of the weather. Owners manual access is a joke. I do have a problem not being able to use my phone. It worked fine for about 2 months. The local dealer has told me it may take 2 days or more to fix. They may have to order a new display and control system. I can't be without my office for that long. I have to schedule oil changes at least a month ahead. So if I have to wait 2 days to get this fixed it may not be in my best interest. To use the phone I will find a place to park and turn the truck off.

MY NEW FORD F-150
I love this truck. I can't believe how well it drives, not to mention how well it looks. All the features (too many to list) it has makes me feel like I'm in a high priced limo.

Great So Far
2022 F150 XLT in rapid red with chrome package. Only 1K miles so far but no issues outside of a the funky rubber boot in the drop in bed liner that makes it tough to push the button for the bed lights. Truck rides incredibly smooth and quiet compared to the F350 I owned previously, and highway mpg is about 27 - incredible.
22 F150 2,7EB payload package
Passed on a 21 KR then set my sights on a 22 XLT 302à 2.7EB payload package that the to glitzy of a19 701à Platinum was traded for. The 19 was a max tow and a great vehicle just not my type of vehicle. The 22 XLT 302a has what is needed to be a useable TRUCK that meets both needs for work and doing daily tasks. The 2.7EB matched to the payload package is the F150 secret package that exceeds in both areas. This is a keeper truck. Just oil changes and Ford recalls done on the truck.
