Enjoying Decision
Yes Ford has issues with recalls and reliabilty, but what manufacturer doesnt today with so much of the vehicle being controled electronically and with computers over mechanical. I have a 2022 Platinum High trim, the ontly option I didnt have was start/stop (deleted at time due to chip shortage) and panoramic sunroof, which I did not want this option (I expect this to have issues down the line). I have only had 2 recalls, one being wiper motor, which always worked for me, but had replaced; and the wiring rubing on rear axel (which also was a non issue for my particular build). Other than those issues, I havent had any. Does Bluecruise shift in lane some?- Not really, at least I dont think more than I would if I was holding wheel. Does Bluecruise have its faults - yes, but nothing I am unsatisfied with, other than Ford charging an insane price after the 3 year time is up, but this I think is where the market is heading (all subscription based), but then one shouldnt have to pay for the technology up front and then be charged for the use of it. I also went with a V8 engine, not because other ones are bad, I just felt that I wanted as simple as an engine I could get, and after doing my research appears these have less issues than the 3.5. I didnt plan to make this too long, I just wanted to say that i am happy with my purchase, I'm sure that there are others who have some issues, so far I happen to have no issues than the 2 recalls, and I also planned ahead and did an extended warranty for 8 years as well. (Advice shop around for this dont have to do it at the dealer at delivery, and you can get a much better deal)

2022 Lariat w/ bells & whistles, rattles, clunks
Higher end appointments, sky roof, leather, large screen, generator, however, it also has more than its fair share of issues. Driver's seat collapsed within 4k miles and had to be replaced (and NO, I'm not a big guy). The infotainment software is like a roulette wheel of things that work properly, or not. Memory seats works most of the time, radio resets randomly, whole infotainment systems will randomly reboot, usually WHILE DRIVING, entry lights work most of the time, climate control only randomly goes crazy and switches to full blast fan, or radically changes temp. But the most annoying thing is the rattling, creaking, clunking, etc from various places inside the cab. It is maddening. It has been happening almost since the day I got it, and the dealer seemingly has no way of dealing with it. Truck has less that 19k miles and is getting noisier by the day. Had my wife drive around while I crawled around inside the cab trying to find the source of the noises, but they seem to be coming from everywhere. I believe it's either the result of rushed assembly, poor materials (adhesives, fasteners), or both. Whatever it is, it shouldn't be happening to a $70k+ truck that has spent most of its young life on paved city streets and highways. The flaky software is updated at least a few times a month, and more often than not, seemingly does noting, or worse, introduces new electronic gremlins.

MY NEW FORD F-150
I love this truck. I can't believe how well it drives, not to mention how well it looks. All the features (too many to list) it has makes me feel like I'm in a high priced limo.

Great So Far
2022 F150 XLT in rapid red with chrome package. Only 1K miles so far but no issues outside of a the funky rubber boot in the drop in bed liner that makes it tough to push the button for the bed lights. Truck rides incredibly smooth and quiet compared to the F350 I owned previously, and highway mpg is about 27 - incredible.
