Dynamic Dodge: A Fan is Born!
I'm a new fan of Chrysler & Dodge after this recent purchase. The very best 4X4 out there. Incredible on boulevard or back road. As a former Cadillac Escalade owner, I saved over 20 grand for an even better SUV. Nearly bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland, but waited for the Durango to gain extra seating capacity & cargo room. Elected the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 w/ AWD edition in Citadel trim. Loads of creature comforts as standard w/ few options at extremely reasonable prices. Absolutely no unsightly panel gaps. The new '11 is superior to everything in its class. I am pleased to have ordered my Durango w/ every option & all available packages - not possible w/ a Range Rover, Cadillac or Lincoln.

1 year later and we love this SUV by Dr Tasso P.
24000 miles later and I would buy this again. We liked it so much that we have now bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit and a 2012 Ram Laramie Crew Cab. The technology is amazing. After lots of research there is no other SUV ( except the GC Overlands etc) that offer all this technolog PERIOD. And if they did, i.e Land Rover ( no ventilated seats nor adaptive cruise in LR4 even available ) it would cost $20k more then the Durango. Auto high beams work great, adaptive cruise a blessing, heated steering wheel. Handles amazing for any SUV. Entry and exit height perfect, not to high nor to low. Interior one of the best, better then other American brands
Durango 2011
I've been driving my new Durango Citadel 5.8ltr for a month now and absolutely love it. It rides great, its comfortable and it has a beatiful interior. My commute is of approx 10' and the gas mileage is average for the segment. I love the interior (napa tan leather). The third row seat is comfortable for me and I'm 6 feet tall. There is plenty of room after the 3rd row for bags and everyday shopping. It is my first american car and so far so good. I did get the extended insurance on the electronics since Im still weary of american quality, I know they have come a long way but... we will see I hope it compares to Toyota and Nissan.
Not sure!!!!
We bought a car and less than 48 hrs had to be towed. After contacting the dealership they we pretty much like “sorry bud”. Never offered to help or no what the problem was... never received our tag which the salemen could get off the car because he didn’t have the tool. After 3 week of not receiving our tag I contacted the salesman abd he said he had found out we did not need it.... cabin filter was full of volleyball size cotton from a mouse. Car was nasty when we arrived and they knew we were coming and did not clean it before we got there... We were driving 2 1// hrs to see suv so when asked the salesmen’s details on the cosmetic of the car he said it was slick and no problem but one small crack in the running board. When we arrived front headlight was cracked BAD and the tail light was full of water. Not very good service if you ask me! Just be ware
