I bought my Dart brand new at the dealership with 14 miles in October 2012. Literally three days after I bought it, someone either put or I picked up a screw in my tire. $130 for a tire. We had a pretty typical winter in 2013, but somehow there was ice that got built up under the wheel well on the driver side, and it broke off a piece of the bumper. I had a headlight go out shortly after that, and I hit a deer a week later which dented the hood. I was told that it would cost "at least $1000" to fix the hood, even though it was very minimal cosmetic damage - but because it was a certain type of hood it needed to be repaired. I haven't had to be in a garage for multiple days - but toward the end I was getting expensive repairs. The roads up here are not good for low-profile tires - I blew three tires on potholes and had to get a wheel bearing replaced. I also had the windshield crack for no apparent reason, the moonroof wouldn't close, and so forth. A cousin of mine recommended I get another vehicle. Found one yesterday (6/10/16) and traded it in. It was going to need a whole new suspension and it was less than 4 years old, and had been in Florida when I worked down there. Glad to be rid of it. Also the Dealer (Hartley's in Newport, ME USA) was garbage. They charged me $119 for a tire rotation that didn't solve the problem. $80/oil change as well.

well the first 800 miles of the dash showing 30mpg resulting in a hand calculated mpg of 21.4 mpg on my first three tanks, my truck that i traded in is more fuel efficient pulled 14.5mpg in my brutal commute, leaving my 08 king ranch and moving to the dodge costed me an extra 8400$ gain in loan which stipulated 32mpg would of had that loss consumed in 40k less miles, now with the 22mpg i should see the pay off at about 90k miles i have to drive the car before i'm left with 5 years of higher monthly loan payments, not worth it, not trying to rant either, fuel mileage really does no good for the car, radio quality poor like bad Bluetooth device but from all inputs fm,xm,cd

I purchased a 2013 dodge dart ralley, brand new in November of 2013. I love the style of the car and how it handles, however I have had quite a few problems with it, my first problem was with the fans, drought it to the dealership and they replaced the fan motor, then my low traction light would always turn on do to a bad sensor which I got replaced.now my e brake dose not work do to a rear callaper which is covered so it well only cost me $100 to fix, my air bag light is on and the dealship said it is because if my passenger blatter silicone thing is leaking and they want over $800 to fix! I have had the car for 2 and a half years it has 45000 miles.. And I have to put $900 worth of work Into it just to pass another inspection. Needless to say I and trading it in and never buying another dodge!!

Worst car ever owned! Dodge Dart Aero turbo

I wanted a Dart because it was affordable and is a nice looking vehicle. A couple months after purchase we noticed a recall for the tcm sensor. We had it fixed and then the problems occured. At 45,000 miles, it had poor exceleration, made horrible noises when shifting, and I couldn't sit in traffic without smelling my gears in the transmission burning. When I went to Dodge to address the issue, they never helped me because I couldn't prove that it was happening. And since I had the recall taken care of, they refused to help us. I avoided going through a drive thru or any areas with heavy traffic. I had to put the car in neutral if I couldn't avoid certain situations. And the car still ran like garbage. Seven engine lights later and Dodge stated they didn't understand my issue or they couldn't find my parts. My warranty was about to expire and I didn't want to put anymore money into it. I called it quits and got a Kia Sorento with more miles but less headache and better fuel economy.
