I would not reccomend this car to anyone
I wouldn't recommend buying this car unless of course you like having your vehicle in the garage. This was the first new car I have ever bought in may of 13, the car was great for the first 3-4 months. My car was backed into and I had to take it in to have the bumper replaced, while in the garage the told me there were "updates" for my computer. This is when everything went down hill. A month or so later my cruise control function stopped working, went back to garage of course they couldn't duplicate it so it's still not fixed. Next up there I'd a glitch with the abs, when I slof on ice with my foot on the brake all my electronics/lights fail. The rotors on the drivers side are both shot after 10k miles but the other side was fine dodge says it's normal wear and tare. Then my passenger side sun visor broke off, has that replaced finally most recent is has to have the car towed from Walmart this past December cause it wouldn't start. Turns out the battery shorted out. Obviously there is a computer problem with this car that they do not want to fix! My car has 26k on it tried to trade it in but was only offered 9k for it. Terrible! Also cat is terrible in the snow!

Worst vehicle I ever owned
I purchsed my Dart SXT 1.4T with 6 speed manual tranny new with less than 10 miles on it. Within the first month I had to take it back to the dealer for intermittent loss of power during acceleration & poor MPG. I was told they couldn’t replicate the issue even though I took the service advisor for a drive & showed him exactly what the vehicle was doing. Had several more visits like this over the life of the vehicle with no resolution until the warranty ran out. Dodge corporate (FCA) was no help & suggested taking it to another dealer and paying them to have the vehicle diagnosed as it was out of warranty by this time. I ended up taking them to court under the lemon law & settled with them buying the car back at the original price. It took yrs of fighting in court with me sitting on a hunk of junk that was pretty much ansafe to drive as you never new if it would actually accelerate or not. Pulling into oncoming traffic was never an option & you had to allow plenty of space to pull out & living in a busy city & commuting to the bay area sometimes it just wasn’t safe to drive. Over the 9 yrs I had the car I put a total of 20k miles on it as it was just never safe or reliable.

I would buy again
This car was worth every penny from the minute it rolled off the truck. 5 years and very reliable.

Dodge Dart wish it was better
Bought the Dart rallye with a 1.4l turbo. From the time we bought the vehicle, it has turbo lag. The engine is not smooth in torque or horsepower and in cold weather running cold is the worst. In order to function at all, it needs to warm up. I've had my dart in three times for the same problem. It is getting ridiculous and am not happy with Dodge Engineers ignoring this obvious problem that everyone is talking about on the forums.
Worst P.O.S. I've EVER OWNES
This is the most unreliable car I have ever owned in my life I bought it a month ago and its been in the shop for more than 2 weeks at 25K miles. It is also a terrible highway car that tends to wander and shake at high speeds around 70 or so.
