1.4 liter turbo Rallye with 6-speed manual
Have owned for 6000 miles, averaging mid 30's mpg overall after accounting for the dash readout error. Turbo engine is gutsy and quick to rev when on boost. Turbo lag is a one-count; by the time you count to two the lag is gone. Car has a couple of mild interior buzzes that come and go according to road texture. An exterior trim piece or two are slightly misaligned. Car is good for us for a 500 mile day but the comfy seat cushions could be a bit longer in length to be perfect. Quiet interior, smooth ride, great handling, strong easily modulated brakes, quick and tactile steering. Roomy back seat. Big trunk and the back seat folds down. No maintenance issues.
Great gas mileage but.....
The base car does not come with AC. No power doors. You have to reach into the back seats to unlock. Cheap materials. For a stick shift with no other features, it is way over-priced. Within 4 days of owning and 150 miles, there was some problems with shifting gears. Errors are lit. I had to get rid of it as quickly as I could.
Great car with all the options
If you're over 6 foot tall, don't buy one. Overall, this car is an excellent choice.

Fun for the first few years but that’s it
Bought the 1.4 rally turbo brand new back in 2013, car was good for the first few years no issues, at 60k the transmission needed to be replaced (under warranty) & was replaced, then the trunk wouldn’t open, replaced the release mechanism, then a bearing went in one of the rear wheels, replaced that, then the entire brake on the other rear wheel completely froze, replaced that, soon hit 100k miles & had to replace the spark plugs! Another $200 fix, shortly after my driver door window wouldn’t open or close, had to replace the motor! Another $300 repair, mind you I never beat on this car, religiously maintained, now at 130k the transmission just went again! Over 2k to have it fixed, sorry but I give up, I’ll never buy another dodge/fiat product again, the car is only 7yrs old & has had all these issues, totally unreliable for a care I took really good care of, so long dodge never again
