Not My First Choice, But My Last
I was driving a Ford 150, that I believed was the best vehicle of the forty or so I had owned in my 80 year life. I retired and traded my motor home and Harley for a 5th wheel. I discovered the 150 was not legally enough truck and scrambled to find a 3/4 in a very small market. My best deal was on the used Chevy. Beautiful High Country Deisel but a second place to the Ford. Today, I no longer pull the trailer but have come to enjoy the luxury and toughness of the Chevrolet. Although a 2015, it is admired on a daily basis whenever parked or at the 3 times a week car wash. Driven conservatively, it gets between 19 and 22 miles per gallon combined Las Vegas city/freeway. The interior is all leather and nearly nice as it was when new. I have owned it for 3years. It has 132K miles. Oil is changed on schedule. An issue with the DEF exhaust system was expensive, but the only trouble. Hard to justify $80K for new one. Not my best vehicle but in the top 5 including Cadillac, Mercedes and Corvette.
