330,000... And still trucking.
What can I say, I've owned this pickup since about 100k, and wish I had bought it earlier. It doesn't get the greatest MPG (about 18 if I don't drive hard & w/o load), but that cost is easily offset by the reliability and simplicity of this Chevy. if something does die the parts are cheap and plentiful. You can literally buy a low mileage engine for $1,000 and drop it over a weekend. I do all of my own service (just follow the owners manual and Y...tube from times to time). I have the full crew cab, 6.0 LQ w/ 4L80E, 6.5' bed. Mine doesn't have it, but the 52 tooth reluctor wheel versions after 2006 have the cylinder deactivation that you want to shut off. The variable oil pressure is fine no need to mess with that.

Old gal
Bought this truck brand new in 2003. Baseline 2500HD Crew LWB 2WD with the 6.0L. 128k on the clock. Awesome truck! Primarily use it to pull my 3800lb. Center Console Coast Boat. Pulls hard, drives down the highway like a Cadillac, and has been super reliable. All maintenance performed per recommended intervals at both dealership and top independent shops. She's gotta last another 20 years because I ain't ever gonna get into a payment again! Solid rig....Like a Rock!
