Rattles my teeth
I love the looks of exterior and interior . I HATE THE VIBRATION OF THE CENTER CONSOLE AND THE PASSENGER SEAT. I hate the vibration felt in the steering wheel! My ford word truck has NONE of the vibration inside the interior

Major mistake, never again. good buy chevy.
For 43K, and purchased brand spanking new, at 3k miles i should not have vibration issues, hard downshifting, and terrible dealer denial. I am so fed up with the lack of quality, and attention to detail. All the bells and whistles don't mean a thing if the vehicle shifts poorly, lunges when placed in gear, and makes terrible noises when it downshifts. The dealer was helpless (i kinda feel for the dealer, they are not the manufacturer. This is an engineering and quality issue). I DO NOT recommend you waste your money on the 2016 chevy silverado crew, 5.3l. Chevy CANNOT get the basic functionality of what a vehicle is supposed to be correct. Don't buy into the look, or the commercials, these vehicles are nothing but polished poop. purchasing this chevy truck was a major mistake and i hope you learn from my mistake, but at my cost. God bless.

"Disappointed"
2016 truck has 2400 miles on it. Is the roughest ride I have ever had in a chevy pickup. Cant travel it because wife feels the truck is going to break down due to the vibration. Had it in the shop 7 times for shimmy(vibration) at medium and highway speeds. Shop changed tires , balanced several times. Nothing they did helped. Dealer told me it was the best they could do. I had several friends drive it and they came to the same conclusion. We all agreed to never purchase a Silverado and pass that statement on to others.

My First New Truck In 25 Years
I have now had this truck for a little over 4 years and it has been flawless in every respect. It has lots of power and with the displacement on demand I get a little bit better fuel economy when driving at freeway speed. I love all the info I can get via the computer monitoring system, especially the tire pressure monitor. This feature keeps the tire pressure easy to check and to get more air when needed. I don't like the plastic bumpers on this truck v. the metal ones on my old 98 Cheyenne model.

Replaced my 2007 Chevy Silverado
As a 2nd time truck buyer, the 2016 chevy silverado is hands down superior to the 2007 silverado that I previously owned. Its much quieter, handles like a dream, has better gas mileage - although 15.7 is about as good as I have gotten so far but thats still 2 mpg better than my 2007. I have only had it for 785 miles so its new. Its beautiful and well appointed. The only drawback is climbing into the truck. I do not have running boards yet but will need to get them to provide a step up. My wife has a problem getting into the truck. In terms of acceleration, it does fine. The interior is very nice with the leather seats which have a cooling feature which is great in the summer. I have only had it for a couple of weeks so its all really new. I read other reviews that talk about a vibration but I have not had that happen. I am a proud owner of this truck
