Used 2006 Chevrolet HHR Consumer Reviews
Excellent job by GM
The best new car I ever purchased. GM has put their best effort into this Chevrolet and it shows! A 1000 mile trip to North Carolina was a pleasure. The XM Radio is a good travelling companion. Excellent mileage about 28.5 per gallon, and plenty of admiring looks from other people on the interstate!
Wow - Get one
Stop looking any further- you'll only be going back to the HHR and may find it was sold. We were shopping at 2 stores and then at some "foreign" places. The HHR is more functional and a better value. The are selling fast- we lost one because we wanted to shop around then had to wait a week for another to come in. We got one with the bigger engine and love it. Peppy, quiet, safe, sturdy, super mileage!
No other car for me
I was able to drive this vehicle last summer when they had just come on the market in California, Since then I hav studied these cars and compared them, I have found that there is not another vehicle out there that compares in price, comfort and ability to facitlitate all the needs I really needed in a car, I have short and very tall family members who range from five foot two to six foot three and everyone fits comfortably. The gas mileage and power are perfect too. I received weekly updates from Chevy on this car and I must say saftey and comfort for my family is number one and I definitely have found it here in this vehicle. Drive one one and you will see exactly what I mean.
Wish it was better built
Great car. I wish Chevy had put a little bit more Chevy heart and soul. This could have been the best light truck/full sized sedan car ever made. My two biggest complaints are the fact that whenever it rains the car leaks on the floorboard If you own one keep an eye on this. The other thing is the fabric they used for the for the seats. Don't let a drip of water touch, it will stain.
Retro-wagon
I love my little HHR! It's fun to drive, I get all the looks, and it hasn't given me one problem yet. It gets okay gas mileage and definitely could use more 'umph' in the horsepower but overall I'm satisfied with it.
