The vehicle is a lot of fun. Love the looks and the questions as to what vehicle it is. It does get confused with the PT Cruiser however, the room inside is spacious, the engine very peppy and the number of accessories is super. Really enjoy the performance of the vehicle. It handles the road very well. Extremely happy with the quality. Everything fits nice and there are no rattles or wind noises. It has an excellent fit to finish feel.

I purchased my HHR April 10, 2006. I have a metallic blue HHR, and I closed my deal online. I had never heard of this car until my salesman suggested I check it out. I love this car! I elected to get the basic LT with cloth seats and the six speaker system. It comes with a CD player, power everything, and theft system. I didn't need leather seats, so this model was fine. I thank all of you guys for helping me make my decision. I check every review, and I was sold. I didn't realize how nice my car was until I walked my dog one day, and turned back and looked at my car. It is beautiful. For those who compare this to a PT Crusier, can you see? The PT Cruiser is a hearse!!

The 2006 HHR LT has a smooth ride and is comfortable for driver and passenger on long freeway trips. We have leather with electric driver seat. Seat heaters are nice in winter, even in So. Cal. Ours needed a $1,100 oil cooler repair at 70,000 miles. Stereo works well. Odd placement of cup holders and window controls.

It's so quiet and smooth, I sometimes forget how fast I'm going. After driving it and the 2005 Matrix, there was no comparing the ride. It's also much more comfortable and stylish. It has more room in the front, and a nicely flexible cargo space. I was afraid it would be a lot larger in length, but it's only longer by 5 inches. The HHR is the car for me

Please think about the following changes. 1. Offer 4 wheel drive as an option. 2. Replace the 4 speed auto tran. with a 5 speed auto.(will give better gas mileage, ETC. ) 3.Use more or better sound deadening material. 4. Upgrade the fabric seats with leather side panels & use better fabric for the interior seat backs plus seats. 5. Use more care with body panels. Have everyone think about this car as if it was their own.
