2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV Consumer Reviews

Smooth ride, low visibility
This is my first EV and in fact my first new car after driving 10 year old used cars for my entire life. The ride is smooth, safety features are pretty nice but honestly they’re REALLY necessary because this car has massive blind spots

Zoom/zoom
This is the first time I have ever driven/owned an electric vehicle. This thing can get up and go for an inexpensive vehicle and rides as well as my Cadillac CT5-V.

Not impressed.
To start off, I like that the Equinox has a lower price point, that will be a huge reason this car sells. The lower price point comes with a lot of compromises, though. Interior quality is horrid, materials are very cheap, road noise is loud, and the infotainment with integrated Google is not that great. I feel like they could have used Apple CarPlay. For a sticker price of $48,000 I was expecting better materials the the immense amount of cheap plastic everywhere, but I understand that’s how GM does it.
