Great car- lousy BMW corporate attitude

2024 BMW iX xDrive50 4dr SUV AWD (electric DD)
We love the car, but the communication system control card keeps failing due to overheating and BMW is not trying to fix it claiming it happens when the car gets too hot. Apparently the card is in the ceiling and the heat from the sunroof can cause the card to overheat and fail. Sadly BMW 's attitude is "there's nothing they can do about it" leaving owners with a possible failure of the … emergency call system. They don't seem to be looking for a solution or plan a recall even tho they admit seeing it in lots of cars. Had I known this problem in advance I would not have bought the car. Going to file a Lemon Law lawsuit, but may have to ask for a refund rather than a new car since it will likely have the very same issue.....
